Sorry, you have not said where your country of origin nor which lens needs repair, thus we cannot make any suggestions. There are numerous repair shops around the world. Doing a Google/Bing/Yahoo search will provide you repair shops; one may be close to you. Also, depending on the lens you may be better of replacing it with a more updated better quality one; just a thought.

I have a 70-300mm quantaray zoom lens for a canon digital 300D Rebel that will not zoom. Is it worth repairing or buying a new one and what would it cost?

Quantaray 70 300mm 4 0 5 6 Zoom Lens Given that you can buy used or refurbished versions of this lense for well under $100 at Amazon, I would guess it's not worth repairing. An hour of a technician's time will probably cost as much or more, and that's assuming the lens can be fixed.

How can I find out the settings available on a Quantaray 70-300 mm zoom lens?

Quantaray has made several different 70-300mm lenses so I'm not sure exactly which one you have. However, if the lens doesn't have a AF/M switch it's no big deal. Assuming it's an autofocus lens, it's always on. If you want to switch to manual focus, flip the switch on the camera body.

If it's an older manual-focus Quantaray lens then the question is moot.

Where do I send my quantaray 70-300mm for repair

You may have two options.
First, contact the place where you bought the lens from. Quantaray is mainly a Ritz Cameras brand.
Secondly, you can use third party repair shops.
I purchase some of my lenses from KEH. [keh.com]. They have a repair shop for cameras and lenses.
Attached is their FAQ site. http://www.keh.com/repair-center.aspx

Hope this helps.

I purchased a Quantaray Autofocus Lens/Manualfocus lens 28-80mm F3.5-5.6 For Canon AF. Exactly what camera does it work on. I have a Canon Rebel XT 350D and it gives me Err 99 message....so I assume this...

Hard to say without more info.

Is the lens just bought new? If not, it likely is 'chipped' for the Canon AF film cameras. I do not recall if Quantaray rechips their lenses. I believe Sigma does theirs, but not sure about Q~. If you got the paperwork with the lens, contact a repair center or Quantaray.
Contact US1 Photo at 877-300-8070. they are a Quantaray dealer. Ask for the number to the distributor, warranty repair facility and for the number of the quantaray home office. One of them should help you get the right lens.

I have a Quantaray 28-200mm lens that I used on my old Nikon slr and I want to use it on my Canon dslr but the lens is way too big for the camera body. Clearly I'm a novice... Is there a mount I can buy...

The short answer is no.

The Long answer is maybe. You'd have to call some stores that carry the Quantaray products. Get phone numbers for the distributor, warranty repair shops, and maybe Quantaray home offices which may be in another country. Then you can find out if they still have the mounts for those lenses in stock, can it be done, where to send it, and how much. Mind you, they may have to totally change the electronics and the motors inside the lens too.

I was wondering, are all quantaray lenses interchangeable? I got a quantaray dakota camera, and it says it has interchangable lense capabilities. Does that mean that any lens called quantaray can fit on...

No. Quantaray makes a wide range of lenses, with a wide selection of mounts. This is because the various camera manufacturers like Canon, Nikon, and Pentax have proprietary mounts. A Quantaray lens for Canon will not fit on a Nikon, for example. You need to specify the mount when you buy your lens.

Aperture wont adjust on my canon rebel xt

If it's an older lens, for EOS film cameras, Quantaray might upgrade it free - contact your local Ritz Camera store ( it's imported by Ritz ) or find a repair center for Quantaray online.

Autofocus is stuck on Quantaray 28-200mm F3.8-5.6

NEVER open it up. You will destroy the dust seals. Have Canon repair it.
