How do I delete an iphone app that won't stop downloading?

4. I selected to Keep Messages for just 30 days, and reduced the storage space taken up by Messages to just 112MB! If you are running out of storage or iCloud space on your iPhone or iPad, give this a try. It is really a good way to erase messages from iPhone.

Hard reset your iPhone and reboot it, the app that is stuck at "Waiting" should be gone from the springboard. You can then download the app again from Appstore.

How to hard reset an iPhone: Press the home and power button simultaneously for 10 seconds to switch off the iPhone. Then, press the power button to reboot.

There may be something wrong with the app. Uninstall it, then download. It should work fine after that.

What's the current version of your iPhone?
iOS4? or you want your iPhone back to iOS4?
If you do not back up for IOS4, you won't update it to the version before iOS 6 now, as APPLE has stop support the Verification of old version
I your current version is iOS 4 and you want to update it you can update by iTunes easily. Just download newest iTune on PC and link iPhone to PC, then it will notice you for the update information.

Try Delete it and re download it, it might work then

Mine has the same issue. and don't worry, Its NOT your internet. its the app. Everything else on my phone works, other games, I can get on the internet no problem. just this app.

If you hold down the Home button until the icons start shaking you should get a small cross nect to the app icon. Use this to unistall the App
