How to resolve the memory low system

Hi Anon, this is Microsoft's answer to low memory messages, and I would only add the suggestion that you check for viruses and other unwanted programs hogging your computer's memory. How to prevent low memory problems Running fewer programs at one time can help prevent low memory problems and information loss. It's a good idea to observe which programs show signs of low memory conditions and try not to run them at the same time.
However, it's not always convenient or practical to run a limited number of programs. Signs of low memory can indicate that the computer needs more RAM to support the programs you use. Here are the recommended ways to solve or prevent low memory problems:
  • Increase the paging file (virtual memory) sizeWindows automatically attempts to increase the paging file size the first time your computer becomes low on memory, but you can also manually increase it up to a maximum size that is determined by the amount of RAM installed. Although increasing the paging file size can help prevent low memory problems, it can also make your programs run more slowly. Because your computer reads information from RAM much faster than from a hard disk (where the paging file is), making too much virtual memory available to programs will slow them down.
For more information, see Change the size of virtual memory.
  • Install more RAM
If you see signs of low memory, or if Windows warns you about a low memory problem, check the information that came with your computer or contact the computer manufacturer to determine which type of RAM is compatible with your computer, and then install more RAM. To install RAM, check the information provided by the manufacturer.
For more information, see Find out how much RAM your computer has.
  • Determine if a program overuses memory
If the computer becomes low on memory whenever you run certain programs, one or more of those programs might have a memory leak. To stop a memory leak, you need to close the program. To repair a memory leak, you need to check for updates for the program or contact the publisher of the software.
To determine which program is using the most memory, follow these steps:
    1. Open Task Manager by right-clicking the taskbar, and then clicking Start Task Manager.
    2. Click the Processes tab.
    3. To sort programs by memory usage, click Memory (Private Working Set).
You can also check for program errors and troubleshooting information using Event Viewer.
    1. Open Event Viewer by clicking the Start button 4f6cbd09-148c-4dd8-b1f2-48f232a2fd33_818.jpg, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Security, clickingAdministrative Tools, and then double-clicking Event Viewer. 18abb370-ac1e-4b6b-b663-e028a75bf05b_48.jpg If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    2. In the left pane, click Applications and Services Logs to view error events. To see a description of the problem, double-click the event. To see if troubleshooting information is available, look for a link to online Help.

For more information, see What information appears in event logs (Event Viewer)?

Computer Tips: Low Memory Problems

How to solve low memory problems...?

Normally this warning message shows when you run many programs same time than the RAM installed on your computer is designed to support. Your can solve this problem by increasing the system paging file size also called as virtual memory. Using this virtual memory windows moving information to and from the paging file for fast processing. This will free up enough RAM for other programs to run properly.
To increase the system page file follow the give path:

e7a0e76.jpg
Control Panel > System > Advanced > Click on Settings (Under Performance) > Advanced > Change
Here under Drive (Volume label), you have option to select any of your hard disk drive, but the best choice is, select any drive other than C drive for virtual memory.

Set the double Initial & Maximum Size of your Virtual Memory. Here set initial size 700 MB and maximum size up to 1000MB; you can change this size according to the free space available on your hard drive.

Mhy htc s620 occasionally slows down. It may take 10 seconds for it to respond to pushing a key. Any help?

On the phone, click setting, and then click accessibility. Change the multi key time out to the slowest time. Also, make sure your phone has at least 10 MB free of Program and Storage Memory. To check this, go to task switcher, and click menu. Then click on system info. Check the remaining memory available for Program and Storage memory at the top of the list. (If you have an SD card installed, it will show up below the program and storage memory.) If you want to remove programs to free up memory, click on settings, then click more, then click remove programs (or press the "2" key.)

I want to put my storage memory in my program memory or i will delete my storage memory but i want to know what is all in the storage memory thats important like pictures, music, voice reocrdings?

than have your storage or removable meory card check by a computer so that you can what is youwould like to transfer, and also be aware regarding the capacity of your Internal memory(program memory), see if it has enogh space to accomodate the data's that you would like to transfer, it can cause your program hang or not working if you use all the space, you'll need atleast 20% of its memory free to have your program space to boot up

My HTC P4350 is running low on free storage space

The system have used nearly the maximum internal memory available: Storage: Total 33.45 MB; In Use: 32.80 MB; Free: 0.66 MB Program.

If you already deleted or moved to memory card your files, that means that the space is taken by installed application/games, or by files left over by previously installed applications.

Save all your files on computer and do a complete reset of the HTC, restoring system to factory settings.
