SOURCE: their was apower cut now the clock and fan oven

where you clock is the buttons next to it, 2 have a line underneath joining to them both, hold them both down together to stop clock flashing, this will then allow your ovens to work, it's a safety feature on these ovens, and to reset clock keep both buttons held in and use the plus and minus button to set hope this helps Donna

Belling oven can't unlock after power cut

If your Belling oven is unable to unlock after a power cut and you've already tried holding in the cancel button, there are a few additional steps you can try to unlock it:
  1. Check the fuse or circuit breaker: Make sure that the fuse or circuit breaker that controls the oven's power supply has not tripped. If it has, reset it and try to unlock the oven again.
  2. Check the lock mechanism: Make sure the lock mechanism is not damaged or stuck. The lock mechanism may have been damaged during the power cut.
  3. Try resetting the oven: Unplug the oven or turn off the power at the circuit breaker for a few minutes, then turn it back on and try to unlock it.
  4. Check the manual: Consult the user manual of your oven, it may have specific instructions on how to unlock the oven after a power cut.
  5. Contact the manufacturer: If none of the above steps work, contact the manufacturer for assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or arrange for a service technician to repair the oven.
It's important to note that these steps may not work for all models, and it may be best to take it to a professional technician for further assistance.

I cleaned my oven and can't get the door to unlock. It has been 12 hours since it finished cleaning. I have tried to cut the power at the electrical box and this did not work

Do a a hard reset of the control panel and locking mechanism. Unplug the cord, wait five minutes and then plug it in again. Try the door. You could also try to start another cleaning, interupt after 5 min hitting the clear/off button

Oven door locked

First check to see if you activated the "child lock-out". See your manual to deactivate.

You could also try unplugging the unit, or trip the circuit breaker in your home which supplies power to the oven. Wait 5 minutes and turn power back on. This will reset the controls.

Good luck!

Leisure rangemaster 55 gas cooker

It sounds exactly the same as I am experiencing on my oven of the same model. My theory is that the full flame gas is controlled by a thermostat, and that this has broken hence why the oven only stays on preheat. This will be a matter of a replacement part. Most likely the thermostat is a bi-metal strip that, because it has heated and cooled so many times in it's life it has simply finally given up. Try searching online for the correct part and get a corgi registered fitter or another suitably qualified fitter to come and replace it.

Rangemaster Toledo

we had the same problem - a power cut then the clock flashed up 'auto' preventing the oven from working.
After downloading the manual from the rangemaster website we learnt that all you need to do (for the classic dual fuel anyway) is to press in the 2 buttons on the left and set the time using the + or - keys. Dead easy and Christmas dinner is back on!
