Goodman cph30-1fb a/c stopped working

I have a Goodman a/c model # cph30-1fb. it stopped working tonight and i want to know how to figure out what the problem is. I can hear it humm when i turn it on but it isn't blowing any air.

I think it's an a/c but im not really sure, by looking at goodmans site it could be central a/c, a heat pump, or a packaged system. I wasn't able to find any manuals or any kind of info at all about this model online.

can someone first tell me how to determine what kind of system this is, and what are the basic things to check for to find out why it's not working?

Try This,
If The A/C Unit Compressor Is Humming, Not Running
And/Or
The A/C Unit Fan Is Humming, Not Running.
Replace The Dual Capicator Inside The Unit Outside,
READ THIS ENTIRE DOCUMENT BEFORE PROCEEDING ANY FURTHER!!!!!

Remove Access Door Panel
You Will See The Compressor 24VAC Coil/Contactor, This Is For The Compressor,
What Turn's It On Is The 24VAC From Your Thermostat, These's Are OPEN Contact
Relay's, They Should Be Replaced Every 5yrs, As Well As The Dual Capacitor.

Suspecting Your Dual Capactior Is Bad,
BEFORE ENTERING Access Panel, Kill The Breaker Feeding Your
Outside A/C Unit, and/or RAISE Thermostat So A/C Unit Will Not Come On, Then,There Might Be A Elec Box Located Next To The Unit, Open The Cover, Pull The "T" Handle, Remove From Box, This Removes All Electrical Power From Outside Unit.
NOW WAIT 15 Minutes, [Let Capactior Power Drained/Down/out.]
NOW IT IS SAFE TO Preform The Next Part.

Remove The Access panel For The Electrical Compartment,
You Will See a Metal Looking Cylinder, Not Round, But Oval Shape, Will Have Wire's
Going To Top Of It, Remove The Clamp Securing This To The A/C Unit Frame.
DONOT DISCONNECT ANY WIres @ This Time.
Move The Capacitor So You Can See The TOP Of It,
You Will See "HERM" on One Side
COM in the Middle
FAN On The Other Side.
Write Down The Color Wire[s] Going To Each Connection.
Now Remove The Wire's From The Capacitor,
The Capacitor Has printed/Label On It
This Show's Voltage and MFD Ratings.
Take This To Your Local Heating & Air Supply Company, Ask For A Direct
Replacement, Based On The Data Listed On It.
You Might Get One Back Looking Different, But The Voltage/MFD's Will Be The Same.
Installed The Replacement Capacitor, W/ Correct Colored Wires.
Remount Capactior On A/C Unit, Make Sure It Cannot Move, Fallout.
Re-Install Access Cover
Turn ALL Power back Onto Unit
Set Thermostat So Unit Should Come On, Should Be Working.

If You Can, Replace 24VAC Compressor Contact/Relay,
Like The Old Cars, Point's Are Pitted After Long Use, Causing Problem[s].

If The Unit Is Working, Here's What Happened:
The Capacitor Got Weak or Failed,
"HERM" supplies VAC To START The A/C Compressor
"FAN" Supplies Voltage AC To Start The A/C Unit's Fan
"COM" Is The Common Electrical Wire Circuit Between The Two [Herm &Fan]

The Capacitor Is Like A Starting Circuit, A Good Capacitor Will Start The
HERM [Compressor] & FAN FAST, a Weak One Will Cause A DELAY
Before Acheiving TOP RPM/Speed, This Cost More on The Electric Bill &
Makes The Compressor Motor & Fan Motor Work Harder, Causing
Early Failure's Of The Motor[s].

You Should Replace Both The 24Vac Relay Contactor & Capacitor
Every 5Yrs, Whether The Unit Is Working Or Not.
These's Are The HEART Of The System, They Get Weak, Will Hurt Rest
Of The Major Parts Of Your A/C System.

Hope This Help's

I am looking for a condensation pipe diagram for a Goodman GMVC950905 DXA8. Goodman is less than helpful... thanks

Well, it sounds like the manufacturer is no help--
So, what can we figure out for ourselves?

When you say condensation pipe diagram-- I wonder why you need that diagram--
Are you having trouble with a clogged condensate drain?- -- or do you need to know if there are options?

Please tell us more--Maybe we can figure it our without the help of the manufacturer-

Goodman gmp075-3 led blinks 5 times

I Also have the same and other problems with my furnace model # GDS80703AXBB. First the LED kept blinking 4 times and I too jumped the primary limit, that didn't kelp. After several attemps I moved the wires going to the circut board and everything starting working again. After a week It stopped working again, so I pulled the plug out of the circut board checked all wires for for a bad connection plugged it back in. Now the LED blinks 6 times again I move the wires. Then the LED blinks 3 times. Then the transformer burns out. I have burned out 2 transformers and I have ordered a new circut board.
