Yes and No, depending if the car has been sitting out in the sun longer than others. over times seal tend to wear or rotten especially the one setting out more in the sun. back window tend to get beaten more its the way the window sit exposing more to the sun, beside the front windshield which has stronger and thicker rubber. Manufacture who produce those rubber seals for GM, I never though they were good seal. GM always has problems with there rubber seals when it come to convertible and T- tops. back in the the early 80's to the late 90's was horrible. 2000' are much improvement.

1997 Nissan Sentra when it rains water leaks in on the passenger floor somehow behind the dash Maybe

Don A has an excellent answer, but if you have a sunroof, that is more likely the reason. The pipe runs down between the door pillar and the windshield and there is often a join there which can part. Be careful with compressed air as it can blow joints apart.

2004 Ford Mustang water floor behind drivers seat lotta rain lotta water 1-2". Same level as lower portion of trunk. Could it runs along the window, body seal/trunk to floor?

I don't think it can make from the trunk to the back floor.A better bet would be a leak with the weatherstripping at the back or bottom of the driver's door.

Back floor wet after it rains

On a dry day take a garden hose and shoot water in any area that could leak and check and see if there is water in any of those areas. Also check under the car to see if there are holes or cracks that could leak. A rust spot will sometimes leak as well.

In my 2000 chevy Impala has a water leaks under dashboard onto passenger floor, only when it rains?

I had the same problem with a 1994 Taurus. Within the front fender was 10 years of pine needles and leaves blocking the drain backing the water up in and over the fire wall and into the front passenger seat floor.
I took a LONG pair of needle nose pliers threw the passenger side door, and was able to remove enough debree. After pulling out out about 5 fist full's of yuck, 1 gallon a water that was stuck some where poured out flushing out the drain. I did the same on the drivers side. After that I had no problems with floods. I hope this helps. If not check your back door weather stripping if you have one. I have heard water leaking behind the passengers seatbelt and onto the floor from under the seat. Got to love Florida's rain season(s)
