How do you attach saw blade ? - Craftsman 15" Scroll Saw Manual Model 572.247202

Procedure for installing/replacing blades:
BEE CAREFUL DO NOT PINCH YOUR HAND!!!
REMOVE BATTERY FROM THE DRIVER!
1. Dismount saw from the driver!!!!!!
2. turn saw around, You will see gray button near of the axial, press it and hold it.
3. Insert key into screw on spindle and turn it clockwise

Open the yellow tab on the side of the blade guard and lift the blade out. Install a new on and close the tab. If the blade has been damaged, it may need to be pried off the locating pin at the attachment point.

Dose it spin with the blade off. If so then the blade is bent take the blade off and put it on a flat surface if it dosn't lay flat you need a new blade.Even if you could strighen it enough to rotate it wouldn't cut vary good and wouldn't be safe to use.

your delta scroll saw has two blade attachment points one under the table and one in the arm. attach under the table first and then in the arm. that way you can be sure to adjust the tension properly.

there are only two styles of scroll saw blade, those with pins and straight blades without pins

look carefully at your saw and you will be able to see which type holder you have

you should be able to adjust blade up a little bit, you only want blade to cut through tile bout 1/4 inch ,should be big knob you lossen to lift up motor and blade good luck

should have blade lock button remove blade with proper size wrench reinstall new blade in reverse remember some of these the loosening of the blade will be clockwise so if nut dont come loose try clockwise to loosen good luck
