SOURCE: I just bought the coby

there is a nobb on the subwoofer, one is to dial down or up the sub (noob1) , and the other is to dial up or down the 5.1 speark (noob 2). turn noob 2 to the left to dial down the sound, first time i got my setup it was totally down, btw the 5.1 works wonderous if you use a home theater system. Iam using a 1,000watt sony home theater system. 100/200watt RMS per channel at 5 channel those little speakers really can handle well, I never experiance any blow outs :) Coby outdid themselfs with this system

Hey! I have a problem with my sony MDR-RF81 headphones....when the bass is to loud...there volume is droping...when I listen to skirllex for example...the volume is high or low...but when the bass...

Hey there, the problem with your sony is not a hardware problem, the headphones are completely fine, its the amount of bass you are putting into the headphones, there are two solutions to this, if you're using a mobile device (Apple, android etc...), go to your app store and download an equaliser e.g poweramp, with this, you can adjust the sound going through to your headphones using the built in equalizer (usually 5-10 bands, research this if you have no knowledge of equalisers), you can use this to turn down the bass frequencies in the sound, or the only other thinkable options are if you are already have an equaliser in use, turn it down, because putting all of the bars to the top makes the sound horrible, research on some suggestions for equaliser presets (another word for equalizer settings), or just turn the volume down.

the reason this happens is because bass naturally overpowers treble, and if it is too loud, the treble and mids will be significantly quieter, headphones are a menace for this, so all you have to do is tweak the sound a little (using an equaliser) to find that perfect balance between the different elements of sound.:-) :-)

Hope this helped mate :-) :-)

How to turn sound on phillips plasma 32 inch tv

Hello
I thinks that you want to tune your TVs sound parameters, and answers. As you know, when the TV is switched on it will display picture as well as sound, according to the volume level setting. If you want the qulality of sound much more better, by pressing Menu button and higlight the opton 'Sound'. As you select, there will be a 'tick' mark appears, indicating that sound option is selected. On to the right side, there will be Bass, Treble, and balance control displays. Use "Cursor Up" button to go box 'Bass", and increse or decrese Bass lavel as you likes. If you wants to adjust treble, use "Curser Right" button and do as previous to your taste. Come to the "Balance" option by using "Cursor Up or Dn' keys and set it to mid position. There will be indication for its mid position, and it should be in that position, so that you can hear sound from both speakers equally.
All jumpings and adjustments can be done with 'CursorUp, CurserDn, CursorLeft, CurserRight' Ok.

Adjust

I have an Alpine CDA-9813 and to access bass, treble, fade, and balance, you need to press the volume button. This button is usually rotated to adjust the volume but on mine, if you press it in, first time accesses bass, second press accesses treble, 3rd press accesses balance(left to right), and 4th press accesses fading (forward to rear. Press it a 5th time and it either brings you back to volume or back to the main screen. I think it is volume tho. I would assume that the 9853 would work very similar, if not the same.
