Question about Nikon D60 Digital Camera
I need more information. Does it really load taken image on LCD and how long would be taken? A couple of second? or more then 10 second? It is all camera, but there is a chance to figure it out. First you should try reset your camera body on menu. Second you should try clean your memory card and reformat. These doesn't work then your camera has getting defective. It will need then more detailed information while you press shutter button throughout to final. (Check memory card contact surface well how clean and dirty)
Hope you luck! A Professional Camera Clinic Guy!

Look for "Noise Reduction" and "Active D-Lighting". Turn those to off individually and you'll see which one makes the most difference. Turn both off and you'll be able to shoot like mad. See page 55 and 178 of D60 owners manual to turn on and off. TC

Thats OK- the processor has to collect the image process it and then write it to memory. How long this takes various from camera to camera depend in the the Magapixel size- the ASA setting and other factors.

Hi Angela, check to see that your MODE dial is still set to AUTO or PROGRAM MODE or a SCENE Mode. Almost sounds like the camera is set in the "S" Mode which is Shutter Speed.
Hope this helps!
