My grandson pulled out the wires but I need to know the configuration to reconnect

It always helps to state eng size and trans. He has power going to the start wire...somehow. If its a A/T its a yellow wire, M/T purple. check the wires he has messed with.

I think you know the first thing you did wrong!
Try booting into safe mode using the F8 key on startup and then do a system restore back to before your grandson visited. You could also choose "boot to last known good configuration"
Then password protect the computer and don't let him know what it is!

There should be three wires that connect to the gas pedal. Red, White and Blue, (how patriotic!). On the gas pedal switch, the middle connection is the white wire the closer to one of the end is the blue wire, and the other is the red wire. Hope this helps.

normaly when pulled out the cable is also come inside defective, probably better a new mic spare. you can spend time repairing and still no working well

my Grandson got a modern mustang radio controlled car last Christmas. One to many slamming it into things, one of the battery wires came undone. The brown wire, if that helps. I need to know where it reconnects to?

Yes, your colors are correct. To rewire the two ends together, use a method similar to THIS, (it is about audio, but the same theory applies to all three cords)

If the cords are completely severed and you do not know which wire went to which color, you can rewire them to any color you wish. You may just have to plug/unplug them to the tv with trial and error until you figure out which one belongs where.

Sounds like he forgot to reconnect the wires ?

Check this first, if they are OK, bridge them, and the fuel gage should read full.
If this is so, you can get a new tank unit.

Expect he has left the wires off !

In the simplest sense could this be an intermittent wire issue -- evidenced by depending how it is moved it disconnects or reconnects? Secondly if this is your device and not AOL's or someone else's like your ISP AND YOU KNOW THE ENTIRE CONFIGURATION CONTENTS.

REPEAT AND YOU KNOW THE ENTIRE CONFIGURATION CONTENTS. You may be able to find a user guide with reset instructions to get access to the configuration again.
