Hello Terry, Are you sure the other caller does not have their phone button set on MUTE? That would cause them to hear you but you can't hear them. Do you have the same problem from other callers? If so, it must be a problem with your phone.

here i can advice u send phone for technician.
cause moto much model has screw lock the housing,if no tool,u must give it repair by technician.
cant hear the ring,cause of drop,normal is the speaker lose in the right position for detect with mother board.so,it cant ring :)

looking at your phone, press the up volume button. It should be faint at first, and get louder. If you hear nothing, the speaker might have gone bad. Try another phone......
