I have samsung split ac 1.5 ton 2.5 years old, Now when am switch on the ac the indoor unit is working when it tires to on the out door unit after 3 minute delay suddenly the ac is restarting but the out door unit is not on. I have tried with one ac mechanic he say's the compressor is not working. Compressor having 5 years warranty i don't know how to change that in warenty,

R22= 70-80psig
R410a=120-130psig
Depending on many variables such as blower speed, coils clean, indoor/outdoor temps.

Make sure all of the pressure switches are closed on the low voltage control circuit on the outdoor unit. If any are stuck open, the compressor will not kick on. Or just push the compressor contactor in with an insulated screwdriver to ensure the compressor does actually work.

Please again reinstal and see if not work then buy a new one

Check for communication from indoor to out door.Check power in out door unit. If not, check the following.
Keep cool mode and temp setting minimum 3 degree less than room temp.
Check indoor unit return air sensor. Disconnect sensor from PCB and measure resistance. 8 kOhm at 30C and 13 kOhm at 20C if not replace air sensor

Check Indoor Pipe Sensor Disconnect from PCB and measure resistance. Pipe sensor = 5kOhm at 25C. If not replace pipe sensor.

the water comes from the coil, start there make sure there is no obstruction coming out to your condensate line and make sure its properly pitched.

I would say control board. Get on Samsung web site and go to technical support and get there 800 number. I have called several times and they can walk you thru it. Just have your m They model number handy. They can also tell you wether you need a service tech or not. Be sure to ask for free estimate. Rus

Check to see if the noise is coming from the fan, could be bad bearings. Replace the fan motor if that is the case. If the noise is coming from the compressor, the only other place besides the fan, then your compressor has some issues and will probably stop working soon, maybe line up for a replacement before you are left with a hot house.

Draim pans do get dirty and partialy block drain pan. If possible take a shop vac and gently **** out the drain line. This will pull the restriction out of the line and help clean drain pan. Rusty

i believe you have a high pressure switch on your condenser that is going bad .it is a switch that has two red wires connected to it inside your outside unit
