SOURCE: Yamaha RX-V1200 subwoofer connection to Mirage BPS-150i subwoofer

just connect your subwoofer mono RCA to your amp sub single out rca connector. you do not need to megre all those 4terminals into one. in fact internal circuit of those 4rca are merging inside to one since the sub uses only a single amp. 4inputs was meant for sources with multiple sub out

SOURCE: broken connector in subwoofer connection on receiver

Hi,
As per the user manual , the receiver has only one sub-woofer connector. The other alternative is to use the digital audio output for the speakers . That would mean either you have to change the speakers or get a conversion box that would connect your analog speakers to the digital output.
The other thing that can be done is to replace the sub-woofer connector. The same can be done by a radio repair guy or you can take it an authorised pioneer repair centre.

Thanks

How do I connect a Yamaha sws100subwoofer to onkyo home theater receiver

Use a subwoofer cable from the back of the Onkyo (it's labeled "SUBWOOFER OUT") to the subwoofers Input jack. It's an RCA style connector and can be bought at any electronics store or online.

It's possible that you have accidentally switched off the sub-woofer outputs on the receivers. Onkyo have a speaker set up test. You should run that and see if the speakers are on and that a signal is getting through to them.

My Onkyo S/W did the same thing untill I unplugged it from the surge protector that all the other A/V devices are plugged into. I plugged the sub into it's very own wall recepticle with it's very own new surge protector. Maybe cleaner power is the answer.
