You ink absorber is full

1. Download canon service mode tools v3400 from the net.
2. Set the printer in Service Mode: - power OFF the printer bu Power button. Dont disconnect power cable
- connect the printer by USB cable to the PC.
- press and hold Resume button (red triangle in the red circle) and press Power button
- hold both buttons until power on indicator will light then release resume button (dont release Power button) and press Resume button 5 times
- release all buttons - the printer will blink few times with green light and will then light green constantly. You have put the printer in Service Mode now and you can now run the Service Tool. (If the printer is still blinking by green - you have some other errors in printer and you have to fix them first, because the Service Tool will not work if the printer is not put in service mode - green light is constant)
3. Run the Servicetools V3400.exe program.
4. Select the connected USB port number from USB PORT
5. In the Ink Absorber Counter section of the Service Tool, select MAIN from the Absorber pull-down menu.
6. From the Counter Value(%) pull-down menu, select the value (in 10% increments) which is the closest to the actual counter value confirmed before replacement of the logic board, and click SET.
Print EEPROM information to confirm that the value is properly set to the EEPROM.

I have best solution for reset error 5b00 Canon MX366 about waste ink absorber full :
1. Fisrt step : entering service mode, using this method (dont use other method!) press & hold "stop" button and than press "power" button, release "stop" button and still hold "power" button and than press "stop" button about 5 times ( 1, 2, 3 , 4, 5) and release "power" & "Stop" button.
2. Printer will be entering to Service Mode with indicators " Printer LCD to become full drak and CPU detecting new hardware (dont do anything).
3. Download Servicetool V 1074 for Canon IP2770, download and entering to this Sofware.
4. prepare paper on the printer and Clik "MAIN" on the Menu Servicetool V1074, if success canon MX366 printing "D=000.0
5. turn off Canon MX366 and remove power cord, wait about 60 second, reinsert power cord and turn on your printer,....... o la la la your printer was normal,..... ( ngono ae kok mumet)

• Extract the PCM servive tool resetter and then double click "servicetool.exe"
• Click Reload Button and you will get a new USB port.
• Load some papers in your printer and press the "Main" Button, wait until it shows "error 001" then press OK.
• Then press "EEPROM" button and the printer will print some text, after that click OK
• Then power off the printer (sometimes you have to press twice the power button to turn off) and turn on again.

it's normal.. dont worry..
You need reset yor ink tank..
follow this step to reset yor absober ink full....

firstly you need to download ip service tool
servicetool 1> Click here to download
servicetool 2> Click here to download

After download finish
1> turn off printer power switch
2> press and hold on/off button
3> turn on power switch
you will see your printer led bilnking
4> release printer on/off button
5> on printer again until led stable not blinking and you can start use ip service tool
