Replacing the Ceramic top is not difficult. Just remember to be careful. There should be 2-to-5 screws holding the top to the front support. Removing these screws will allow the top to be tilted up and back. Depending on the style you may have to remove the burner plates from the top. Remember to disconnect the power before attempting any repair
