Portable hand set will not hold charge longer than 10 minutes.

(Got this from a Panasonic Support Tech...Thanks Panasonic!) The following steps are worth a try.... Resetting Handsets & Base Unit: 1) Unplug AC adaptor from base unit for 30 seconds. 2) Reset handsets by removing/reinstalling all batteries.
Re-register each handset to the base unit by following the steps below:

1. Press MENU, #, 1, 3, 0 on the handset. 2. On the base unit, press and hold the LOCATOR button for 4 seconds until the registration tone sounds. 3. On the handset, press the soft key below OK and then wait until a long beep sounds. 4. Press the OFF button to exit. Situate the base unit in a different location. Change the line mode from A to B or vice-versa by following the steps below:

1. Press MENU on the handset. 2. Press #, 1, 2, 2. 3. Press the up or down arrow key to select the desired setting. 4. Press the soft key below SAVE. 5. Press the OFF button to exit. If the problems persist, your unit is malfunctioning and is in need of repair or replacement.
