I deleted a voice message yesterday by mistake. Is there away to retrieve it again?

Likely the two ring answer is "toll saver" You'll need to retrieve new messages. Once all new messages have been reviewed, it should return to the programmed number of rings, see "ring time" in the manual.

ALL messages may be deleted as follows;
delete all messages With the phone in standby, press Delete; press Delete again to confirm.


If answering system messages have been retrieved, a continuing flashing indicator could be your voice mail service;

Voice Message Notification • If you subscribe to a voice mail service, your phone can notify you when you have a new message. This feature supports Frequency-Shift Keying (FSK) notification. Contact your voice mail provider for information. • When you have new messages, the display shows a message icon. After you listen to your messages, the message icon turns off. If it doesn't, you can reset it. With the phone in standby, open the menu and select Global Setup; select VMWI Reset, then select Yes

Knowing the importance of this specific case I would highly recommend calling the factory and having the read the chip (s) and retrieve the data aside from that there's no other way for a consumer to retrieve lost greetings unless you might have had it pre-recorded somewheres just in case he wasnt there and you needed to reset up your answering machine. Unless your voicemail system has a "wastebasket" feature, you cannot retrieve an accidentally deleted message. It's gone. Not many VM systems have this feature. Cisco does, but Mitel low-end (embedded) models do not. The high-end Mitel NuPoint systems do. Older Avaya/Octel systems also do not. Contact your Voice Mail System Manager to find out what features your system has and how to access them. I've been away from this product for several years so features may also have changed. You have unheard messages on the voicemail system provided by your telephone company. This system records messages when someone calls while you're already on the phone. Please contact your telephone company for instructions on accessing their voicemail system.

Sorry for you loss Kelly...Have you tried to contact your network carrier? They tend to delete messages in your voicemail after so many days if you havent saved them, Hope this helps.

on your computer, you will need some sort of media recovery software. also go to options under the tools menu and uncheck delete after transfer to turn off deletion. this is usually best since you can delete the files through the recorder by the erase button

I don't think this can be done. I read through the entire manual and there is no mention. I can email you a copy of the manual if you want.

sorry it sounds like the folder may be lost forever.once you pressed the record button, the recorder knew it as a new recording in that folder.look at it like a answering machine going out message. if you made a mistake,and you wanted to record a new message,the old message would be erased.if your folder was on a cassette recorder, you would have only erased those few seconds.
