Question about Magic Chef MCWC44DZ Wine Cooler

Stuck on "Standby" We unplugged it and plugged it in again and no change it's been 14 hrs.

The cooler stuck on standby when we attempted to change the temp from celcios to Fahrenheit. By pressing the up and down temp controls at the same time.

Try unpluging the tv for several minutes and then plug it back in and turn it on and see if that helps

Hi D
Sounds like the Switch Mode Power Supply is failing to Power Up.
Often Caused by Bad Electrolytic Capacitors inside the Power Supply Circuitry.
Probably a replaceable PCB Module.
Take it in to your dealer or Electronics technician.

Sony TV model KDL-46Z4100, standby light flashes 14 times, no picture, no sound

14 blinks to Sony Brand LCDs indicates a 'Backend error'. It means that, the main board to this TV should be checked for fault. In most cases the main board might need replacement, and a software update too. If you wish to know more details about this blinking code, check this link. It has details of blinking codes to several brands of TVs including Sony. Actually the work is a skilled one, need experience.

Stuck on standby !

unplug and plug in back after 3 hrs..if that does not restore it to normal then have a tech repair your tv. the problem is in the power supply.or microchip in the secondary pwer supply.good luck.

Tv turns to standby then when i switch it on nothing happens then 10 second or so later the standby just flashes

unplug tv for 3-4 hrs then try again. if that doesnt help you may have a bad powersupply.

Element stuck in standby and wont turn back on.

you can unplug the power cord and drench the power and after go ahead and plug in back the TV and try to start it

Okay, this may a silly thought but, was there a switch or a dip switch on this replacement board you recieved. It may be in switched into the Service mode?

It is most likely a burnt out capacitor. It is probably the capacitor on the power supply and it will need to be changed.

Did you check the casing for a reset button (sometime it an itty ***** hole)

My subzero 424 doesn't seem to shut off. constantly running. temp remains constant. temp set to 50 on top and 55 on the bottom. does not change, not even by one degree. when I raise the temp it stops running until it reaches the new setting and then keeps on going. it doesn't rest
