Stuck on "Standby" We unplugged it and plugged it in again and no change it's been 14 hrs.

Replace the batteries in the remote.

Try unpluging the tv for several minutes and then plug it back in and turn it on and see if that helps

Sounds like the Switch Mode Power Supply is failing to Power Up.
Often Caused by Bad Electrolytic Capacitors inside the Power Supply Circuitry.
Probably a replaceable PCB Module.
Take it in to your dealer or Electronics technician.

unplug and plug in back after 3 hrs..if that does not restore it to normal then have a tech repair your tv. the problem is in the power supply.or microchip in the secondary pwer supply.good luck.

unplug tv for 3-4 hrs then try again. if that doesnt help you may have a bad powersupply.

you can unplug the power cord and drench the power and after go ahead and plug in back the TV and try to start it

Okay, this may a silly thought but, was there a switch or a dip switch on this replacement board you recieved. It may be in switched into the Service mode?
Just a thought.

It is most likely a burnt out capacitor. It is probably the capacitor on the power supply and it will need to be changed.

Did you check the casing for a reset button (sometime it an itty ***** hole)
