We have had a problem where the cd's/dvd's wouldn't play on our Acer Aspire 5920, we got a registry fix to solve this problem, which we have to use all the time as cd's regularly won't play on the laptop. I now have a problem where cd's won't burn in itunes 8. I followed itunes help page where you make changes to the windows registry, but then a message comes up saying the cd burning software is missing and cd's won't play again on the laptop. If you fix this problem with the above registry fix first mentioned, then the message pops up in itunes again that the registry settings for importing and burning cd's is missing. Aaargh it's driving me mad, can you help?!
