You will need to determine if it's the amplifiers or the tweeter themselves that are not working. If you open up the cabinets and check each tweeter with an ohm meter for continuity it will show if the tweeters are working, in which case the amp is the problem. if the meter shows that the tweeters are blown, you should still hook up another tweeter or speaker to the horn amp to see if it's blown and therefor took out the tweeters.
If any of this sounds complicated, you'd be best off taking the cabinets to the repair shop.

NO POWER JBL EON 615 THE FUSE IS GOODNO POWER JBL EON 615 THE FUSE IS GOOD

Hello Dane, if the fuse is good, you can have the speaker and driver of the horn, open, therefore it will not sound

Hola Dane, si el fusible esta bien, puedes tener el parlante y el driver de la bocina, abiertos, por lo tanto no va a sonar

12 inch sub(JBL) in box with a 500 watt pioneer amp, sounds good with some types of base. would you cut a port hole in speaker box?

riverray1969 it would help if I knew the exact model number of that JBL sub you are referring to. With that info I can provide exact specs.

Basically, you need to build/modify an sub enclosure that is suited for the sub, the music you mainly play, and vehicle tuning. Generally, sealed enclosures will provide tighter bass response and get decently loud. Some would argue that it will give you greater sound quality. A ported enclosure will give you a louder more booming sound. That depends also on where the port is tuned (ex. 32 hz, 36 hz, etc ). You need to make sure that the enclosure meets the sub's airspace requirement as well. A customized well made enclosure is just as important as the sub you put in it.

The tweeters are not working

The crossover caps may have failed, or the tweeters themselves burned out. Using a small 1.5 volt cell touched across the tweeter leads should produce a sound. If not- they are burned out.

My Creature II speakers still work however the big subwoffer isnt working. I think it is probably just the cord but is there a way I can be sure

Which cord are you thinking of? If you look at the subwoofer there are 4 cords. One to the left tweeter, one to the right tweeter, one to the computer and one to the power.
  1. As both the tweeters are woring then those 2 cords are OK.
  2. As both tweeters are working then the cord to the computer is OK.
  3. As both tweeters are working then the cord to the power is OK.
  4. Therefore it is not 'just the cord.'
What I would suggest is checking that the sub has not been turned down - one of the silver posts on the sub. If that is not the case and you cannot turn the sub volume up then I suggest that you replace the system. They probably cost more to repair than to buy new.

BLOWN FUSE?

If no warranty - remove amp and check sub to another amp to isolate speaker from internal amp. Either the amp blew a channel or subwoofer blew. JBL's are typically well built. Has this speaker often been pushed loud often?
