Please let us know the model number of your unit. This can typically be found on the back of the display, or the front page of the instruction booklet. This will allow us to better assist you.

This all depends where u have your sensor if out doors keep out of sun light and a northern exposure is recommended If your temperature is off on your indoor readings consider where both sensors are

Testimonial: "I have my sensor facing north out fo the sunlight.Out door & in door temperatures are desplayed . the outdoor temp is 4% higher them the actual temp."

I had a simular issue where are you getting the four degree differnence temperature from? If it is from an air port weather channel or radio that could be the difference . The sensor will only give the actuall temperature for where it is placed . Also keep in mind this unit probally has an accuracy of minus or plus 2 degrees .

Please note that these sensors have an accuracy of a minus or positive 3 . I have a very expensive unit with an accuracy of 1 degree F

My Acu Rite 00992 weather station switched from F degrees to C degrees. Plus MPH to Kph and time from EST to PST. How do I change it back

Press Set-up, third round button from right and hold it down until "hour" on the time display flashes. Then press "set-up" again, and again (for me it was 8 times), until you get to where the "C" is flashing you want to change to "F." Now, press "Min" on the far left once to change it to "F." Press "set-up" two more times to get out of the cycle, and you're done.

Our new model #00592W1 includes a low temperature adaptor that plugs into the wireless sensor. Is it necessary to use this?

I found this on another Acu-Rite manual: In case temperatures fall below -4F, bring the wireless sensor indoors and use the included low temperature adaptor by routing the wire out through a soft seal opening such as a window or door. (That way the Wireless sensor is protected indoors in extreme temperatures. Low temp adaptor is used outside to observe temperature.)

What is the website address or the url for acu rite weather stations

Acu-Rite is a brand of the Chaney Instruments Co. Here's a link to the company website. They don't have a lot of information, but you can at least get a product manual here. I'm guessing they just import and distribute the products and don't do any manufacturing.
