How do I access my inbuilt camera on my Asus F5 ? It works automaticlly on skype, just not by itself, I can't find it on my computer.
You have to open the webcam software to activate or startthe webcam. There is no button to push or switch to turn on. Thewebcam software is somewhere in the program list. Click Start/Programs thensearch for any reference to webcam or camera. Sometimes the webcam mightbe inside one of the manufacturers folders in the program list so search thefolders for it. Some manufacturers have something like EntertainmentExperience that will open and show all the entertainment devices such as thedvd drive, webcam, media player, etc. if you see it click it to launch itthen click on the webcam or camera icon.
Try using ManyCamYoucan always download Manycam and install it. Go to www.google.com and inthe search box type: "download.cnet.com" (without the quotes). Click on the link to go to the site. When the site opens look down on theleft and you will see a gray area that says Find Software. Type"Manycam" (without the quotes) in the white search area then hit thesearch mirror. When it brings back your results look for the one thatsays ManyCam Virtual Webcam. Down load it and install it. Make sureyou remove the check box on any junky programs it would like to install. Youonly want to install ManyCam, no additions whatsoever during the install. ManyCam is totally FREE and easy to use, and you will always know where yourwebcam software is.
I have the same issue, also when I keep pressing the C button the camera works fine but when I realse the C it become forzen. until I repress the C button again.
hope to find a soultion for that
I have the same problem with the camera. When I open the lense blend, the phone switches to camera mode and starts lagging. The icons come out slowly, but you can see the way they took, because the images don't disappear. When I press some buttons randomly the gray field comes and that's it.
I will try to do a software update via the internet today and if it doesn't help I will go to the Nokia Store (I haven't bought it there, but at Amazon, but that shouldn't be a problem, right?).
If anything helps, I'll report in here.
