Try to reinstall the driver here:
http://www.isonic.co.za/drivers.htm

are the sounddrivers on your computer installed..

It's not about installing the drivers. The trick is to install them correctly. The driver file provided only contains a bunch of files and no instructions on how to install the driver. Isonic also does not provide any advice or instructions on their site. After weeks of trying, I have decided the best thing is to trash the card and to stay away from Isonic products forever.

I hook my computer up to my lc195sl9 via hdmi and i get great picture but no sound on the monitor. what can i do to get sound.

HDMI only gives you great video but no sound. I can't find a manual for it but basically you need to hook up an RCA jack from the ouput on your sound card to the input onto your monitor. At that point you will have sound. Just be sure to go into your setting on your monitor and turn up the souund volume.
