The plug is probably not connected to the power cable. Could also be a bad cable or the connection to the clipper.

Oil the blades and then adjust them. You will need to add oil while grooming from time to time and then clean & oil them again when finished.

Sound as though the blade drive needs replacing, commonly you will notice tram lines in the cut on your longer blades or the shorter blades struggling to cut

Stop, Their no manual on how to take your Andis Master apart. The Andis Master has small parts that you can lose. The adjustment on this clipper are not easy to do. I

mcdevito75 here, Sounds like the blades need to be sharpened, refer to the shavers brand name plus .com for blade replacement or replace the shaver.

There is little needed most componets such as the motor and carbon brushes are fairly complicated and should be checked when the units are serviced.
Keep an eye on the Blade Drive Assembly as with most clippers they wear on the sides causing cutting problems such as lines in cut fur and snagging blades, alternatively send them, to our Clipper Repair department.

Chances are that the problem wasn't the clippers at all. Since they were on initially, maybe you tripped a circuit in the breaker box? If that wasn't it, you may have damaged your cord. I see a lot of people pulling by the cord to unplug...BAD decision. Check for frays near the end that houses the prongs, and if not there, open them up and check from in between where the hanging loop is up to near where it connects to the motor. I still have every set of andis trimmers and clippers I have ever owned.

If your afraid to open them up, go to andis.com, then click your country, then hover over professional and scroll down to trimmers. Select the outliner II, and when the next window opens, at the bottom there is a specs link. Click that and you should find a diagram of what your looking for when you open up the housing.

You probably need a new blade drive, which is easily replaced yourself, if you are so inclined.
