AOC E2752VH 27" monitor has a dark shadowy spot. Doesn't look like a typical stuck pixel, more like a dirt smudge that won't go away. In fact, I originally thought it was just dirt, until I tried wiping it off and would not go away. It is about the size of a dirt smudge made by pressing a pinky on the screen. Everything that appears in the shadowy smudge appears darker. The spot is more visible in backgrounds that are all white/ all the same color. It is not noticeable in very dark or black backgrounds.

SOURCE: monitor color changed

Assuming you can rule out the PC and the cable (are the pins ok?) then it sounds like it needs component-level electrical troubleshooting.

SOURCE: Black spot size quarter on my dell monitor and a thic white line

There are 2 answers here. First is (bad) luck of the draw for your buddy and that would be that it just happened to go bad when you gave it to him. I could believe that except for the black spot. That leads me to believe he inadvertently pressed something in the spot and the pixels are now bad. This may have happened when he or even you were transporting it or as he was carrying it in.
The question I see is how do you resolve it? If you were lucky enough to have plugged it in prior to your coworker taking it, the onus would be on him/her. If not-and to avoid bad blood at work- you may want to refund a portion of the price. Sorry there is no clear cut answer here but in the future if you should do so again, let the purchaser see it al works beforehand.

SOURCE: my aoc lcd monitor appear full white screen

Most probably failure in the LCD controller IC in the lcd controller board. that no signal was sent out to the lcd driver ic thus you could only see white display on the screen. A replacement of LCD panel might be the solution. regards

Need driver

The best place would be to go to the manufacturers website in their support section. Try contacting them if there is not one present. Usually the generic monitor driver already on your computer should run it the monitor correctly in most cases

Why the white or black spot on LCD Display

Dead and Stuck Pixels <br /> Pixel defects for an LCD monitor are defined as one of two types: dead or stuck. LG W2261 VP HDMI problem, 1920:1080 doesnt fit right, there is 2cm dark screen at the edge of the display Got drivers installed for analog -vga and digital -hdmi Tried the buttons on monitor...doesnt...

This problem seem to be the LCD screen have dead pixels or a bruise spots on the LCD screen itself that why you have dark spot or spots on the LCD Screen. This problems can't be repair because this problems doesn't causes by the electronic circuit boards.Tried move the monitor as an angles to the right or to the left might help some lessen the dark spot on the LCD screen that all you could do.If this problems is a very dard bruised spot will not help all or if it is dead pixels on the LCD screen itself.

Canon power shot sd1000 black dot on lens

If by saying the upper right corner of the lens you really mean that there is a dark spot on each image AND the rear display, there may be dirt or dust on the lens itself. Clean the lens with an optical quality cleaner. Do not use paper towels and Windex or the like - as paper towels can scratch the lens.

It is also possible that the dark spot is a "stuck pixel" on the image sensor inside the camera. There is no way to repair a stuck pixel outside of replacing the sensor. Any dark spot (regardless of source) can be edited out by using image editing software. This will allow you to to make the dark spot less noticeable - or practically invisible.

If the dark spot is on the rear display only, it can also be a result of a "stuck pixel" on the display itself. This should not show up an images, but only on the display. There is little that can be done outside of replacing the entire rear screen.

There are other things that can cause these problems, but those listed above are the most common.

I hope this was Very Helpful and good luck!

Grey smudge like images on the screen.

Most possibly those are dead pixels. Those cannot be fixed in most cases. some software and some technic may help but that is not a confirm solution. please take it to the service center or talk them if still the warranty is valid and it covers the facts of dead pixels till date.

Smudge on pictures

Yes, if you have used different lenses and a smudge still appears (in the same place) there may be something on your sensor. Have you cleaned or touched the sensor in the past? Typically sensors only get dust (shows up as small fuzzy dark spots) on the sensor, not smudges.

Monitor picture goes extremely dark

sounds like the backlight is defective. You can probably get a new backlight online if your comfortable taking apart sensitive electronic equipment BUT you must be very very carefull and handle the lcd with care as you can easyly damage it. Oh one more thing the power supply may also be defective for the backlight. I would contact the manufacture to see about the repair or replacement parts as they should be listed in your operators manual. Good Luck
