SOURCE: I have a futura 150

Follow the steps that the futura website recommends in their FAQ. (Turn on machine, attach small hoop, and then start Futura software and make sure small hoop is recognized on the computer.) If this is a design that you have modified in any way (ie- added font, or merged designs, etc...) or a design that you have created your self you need to REDO and resave the design on the small hoop now that the computer is recognizing it. I had a name drop design and I added the name and saved it- all in the large hoop and had the same error message although I followed the steps for recognizing the small hoop and it seemed to work until I actually started embroidering. When I redid the design under the small hoop, it worked fine!

SOURCE: Futura CE-200 Stops in middle of design and says wrong hoop size

Dear cjnations
Firstly we must all remember that the CE200 is a very particular machine and requires that you follow certain procedures in order for it to run smoothly. When using the small hoop, firstly you must make sure that the small hoop is selected on the screen by going to Tools, Select Hoop & clicking on small frame. Once this has been done and the design selected, you must then attach the small hoop before sending the design to the machine. If you attach the hoop after sending the design, the machine will give you the error message.
Good Luck!

My Husqvarna Designer SE embroidery unit keeps giving an error message "Design out of Hoop area" I have the proper hoop as specified in the instructions.

I use to have the same issue. Then found out when I created the design in my software, I had a different hoop size selected that I needed. In other words, say I created a 100X100 design, but when I created it in my software I used the larger hoop size. The machine requires you to use the same hoop size as it was created with, even though it will fit in the 100x100 hoop. Hope this helps.

Hoop will not move to position needle

Check that you have selected the correct size hoop on your machine prior to starting your design. Also the design should be set up also in the right size hoop, or the one you wish to use. Good Luck!

Ready to stitch embroidery letters but nothing happens. The start/stop button and the number 10 design on the machine blinks. What is wrong?

Make sure the machine is on a solid, level surface. Also, it may not work if you don't have the correct foot on the machine.

Embroidery

When you are editing the design make sure you are actually doing it in the hoop size that you want. It may be that the design has been done in a larger hoop although it does not really require it. I can change the hoop size on my machine. Good Luck!

My Husqvarna designer SE embroidery unit keeps giving an error message "install hoop correctly". I've checked everything but can't get around the message. can anybody help ,?

You have probably got the machine set to use a different size hoop. Click on the hoop icon and change it to the size you are using. Hope this helps you.

Brother PE770 Hoop size programming stuck on small hoop option

Your machine would be able to perform 5 X 8 embroideries. The hoop size on this machine is recognized by the machine itself, depending of the embroidery file size. So it the embroidery is small, it will indicate that the small hoop is needed.

But U can use the large hoop, position the embroidery where U want then perform another embroidery on the sams hoop.

TRICK : the embroidery size exceeds the hoop? reduce it in X and or Y using this function on the machine

I bought a large hoop for my machine. But I still

From what I have been able to find out about this model, the embroidery area is limited to 4 x 4.

A larger hoop cannot change the built-in configuration of the machine's computer.

You can use a larger hoop, stitch out what you can and then re-hoop to finish - this is not easy to do.

Measuring the distance between the letters and then centering the last letter to match the previous stitching can be done, but it takes a little practice.

You can make a template using tear away stabilizer.

Stitch out the first 5 letters. Carefully remove the stabilizer - this is going to be a portion of the template.

Hoop another sheet of tear-away and stitch out the last 5 letters (these will partially overlap the first 5 when finished). Remove as in the first step.

Overlap the two templates (tape them together) and this should help you align the letters when you have to re-hoop.

Testing and a bit of practice is how I do it.

There is editing software for splitting designs and if you are interested - check Embird as it seems to be the most reasonable.

I have a futura 150 and I can't get it to change hoop settings. I will put the small hoop on it but it doesn't recognize it. What do I do to fix it. It will change it on the computer screen but doesn't on...

Do not switch on the machine with the small hoop attached. After changing the hoop reload (close and open again) the design or restart the software or select the small hoop manually from the menu.
