try programming your tv onto your direct tv if it works, otherwise, try contacting direct tv and see if they can give you a code that will work. or go buy a universal remote that controls your sat and tv
The REAL solution. The link below is the manual to the RCR450. It shows a pic of the remote which is exactly like the RCR450C. This will teach you how to program the remote and it gives you the codes for the different types of equipment for the universal remote. When the web page comes up, click on "click here" that is in red. Save this manual in your Adobe files for future reference.
I hate you give you this answer but i had almost the same problem but my puppy ate the remote to the tv... needless to say, there are better universal remotes.. I purchased the logitech 670. It sets everything up through the computer, so it already has all the codes through the website. I programed everything i needed, tv remote, comcast remote, and the mini dvd system to one remote. Now all i have to do is hit one button and it does everything for me. The other good thing is if you get a new tv, all you have to do is hook the remote back to the computer and reprogram.
