It is immpossible to set its screen resolution or screen size, without it remote control. Try to get one original remote control, from the authorised service center for Emerson at your town, or buy a universal remote control, which have setup codes for Emerson TV with it. OK.

It is very sorry to say that no universal remote controls are fully compactable with all the function to this set. You must have its original remote control to set all the functions. The original remote control to this set can be bought from the authorised service center for Emerson at your town. Its model number is (NH000UD). If you can get this model remote from anywhere other that service center, ie, form any local electronic sparepart selling shops, it's OK. Insist on the same model number. It is so important. Normally, remote control is an attached accessory with this set. OK.

Your TV is in the service mode. Just try one of two things to correct this. With the original remote, press the cursor button left, followed by pressing the right cursor button. Now shut the TV off. When you power up your TV it should be fine. The second thing to try is to press the cursor button up, followed by pressing the cursor button down. Power off the TV.
