How do i hook up the upholstery cleaner attachment up and use it?

First the bag assembly and head (or hose) must be removed. The hose fits onto the motor outlet in place of the bag. You will see a small arrow on the motor end of the hose. Line the arrow up with the "bump" on the metal fan housing and turn it clockwise to snap it in place. Be sure it is fully in place, or the motor will not run. Your attachment box contains an air intake guard which goes on the front in place of the head. Remember - the motor also will not run with the fan exposed. Turn the motor on and blow any dust out of the hose before putting the spray gun on the end of the hose. To make foam, the small foam screen must be attached to the spray gun outlet.

How do i hook up my upholster cleaner

The parts needed for upholstery cleaning should be in the attachment box. First remove the rug nozzle (or hose) , from the motor unit. Next remove the entire bag assembly - grip the lower housing and turn it counterclockwise to remove. The attachment hose can now be placed on the motor outlet. Look for a small arrow on the hose connector and line it up with the small "bump" on the metal fan housing, and turn it clockwise to install. The air intake guard is placed on the front in place of the rug head. Turn the motor on to blow dust out of the hose and fan chamber prior to placing the spray gun on the end of the hose. Be sure to put the small "suds screen" on the nozzle of the spray gun to produce foam. Place the foam onto the area to be cleaned, and massage it into the fabric with a sponge or towel. Allow it to dry thoroughly before vacuuming it out.

Cant get my soap dispenser hose working on my karcher winner 10, any suggestion?, lost my instructions manual so dont know weather i need to be doing anything for it!

If you have not yet found a solution, then here are some steps to take.
1. The soap dispenser only works on low pressure!!!!!!! So you have to REMOVE the high pressure Sprayer so that all you use is the Trigger Gun without the Extender.
2. Pull out the thin Plastic Hose with the filter attached in the end, and insert into your container of detergent.
It will only splatter the detergent over the area you want to clean, so you will then need to REATTACH the SPRAYER into the hand gun to work with the soap to lather, clean and spray of till clean.
This seems to be the way the system works on this model......also known as K2.36M (AU) in Australia or (EU) in Europe on the Karcher.com.au site then Service then Manuals. or on the link below.
Hope this helps any of you who has misplaced their Owners Manual just like I did and had a great problem trying to find a link as Karcher doesn't recognize the Model No: as Winner 10 or 11.

Cheers, Luke

G4can you spray paint with kirby if yes what part do you use

There are no parts for this as the kirby doesn't produce enough exhaust pressure to operate a spray gun.

Kirby foam sprayer attachment wont work

Hello,
The trigger on the suds gun needs to be turned (to the left, I believe) to open up the sprayer. Also, make sure that the straw is firmly inserted into the hole in the bottom of the lid part. Hope this helps,

Kirby Manual

The spray gun instruction HERE but be very careful - try shampooing in an inconspicuous area first. This is essentially as if you would buy some of those "spray on" upholstery cleaners in an aerosol cans.

Good Luck,

Upholstry set up for ultimate g kirby.

Remove the entire cloth bag assembly and put the hose on the side where the bag came from. Remove the power nozzle and put the intake guard onto the front. (this is in your attachment set...the only one with little hooks that sit on the bar in front) You can change from the long handle to the short if you'd like also. You get the handles off by pushing the "seatbelt button" located at the rear bottom of the handle and pulling the handle straight up and out. Now, put your spray gun on the hose. Don't forget the little suds nozzle that goes on the end of the spray gun. I like to use a half and half solution of Kirby shampoo and water in the gun. It makes a nice dry foam that only wets the surface of the furniture. If you use more water, it takes longer to dry.

If you need a manual (book or DVD) for your Kirby, try this link....
