SOURCE: sharp aquos 42 inch lcd, too much red thro certain areas in the picture that should be dark. I have heard it needs eeprom reset how would i do this please, if anybody could help xx

Contact Sharp to see if it can be a "reset" issue and to see if this is a known problem in this model----more likely than reset would be a possible software upgrade but it depends on what actual issue is---maybe a bad board somewhere in the set.

How to I flip the picture on my SEIKI SE32HY10 LED TV

To flip the picture on your SEIKI SE32HY10 LED TV, you can follow these steps:
  1. Press the "Menu" button on your TV remote.
  2. Use the arrow buttons to navigate to the "Picture" or "Display" menu.
  3. Scroll down to the "Picture Mode" option and press "Enter".
  4. Select the "Flip" or "Invert" option from the list of available picture modes.
  5. Press "Enter" to save your changes and exit the menu.
If your TV doesn't have a "Flip" or "Invert" option in the Picture Mode menu, you can try accessing the Service Menu to see if the feature is available there. However, accessing the Service Menu requires specific codes and steps, and any changes made in this menu can affect the TV's performance, so it's recommended to do so only if you're experienced in TV repair or have professional assistance.

How to reset to factory conditions without a remote a panasonic SAHT74

While stopped and "DVD/CD" is the source, press and hold [STOP] on the main unit and [>10] on the remote control until "INITIALIZED" disappears from the TV. Turn the unit off and on again. How can I reset my Philips 37 in flat screen TV back to the factory settings?

Hello,

You haven't mentioned the model no. of your TV. Nonetheless, the reset procedure for the model nos. 42PFL7409/98 / 42PFL7409S/98 goes like this:

1- Press Home,
2- Select [Setup] > [Installation] > [Factory
settings],
3- Press play to enter the [Factory settings]
menu
[Reset] is highlighted,
4- Press OK to reset to default settings.
5- Press Home to exit.
The reset procedure may differ for other model nos.

Furthermore, Press the "Menu" button to access the menu, and select "TV Settings" and then "Picture" to bring up the picture settings. Adjust the color, brightness, sharpness and other settings if the picture seems off. Select "Dynamic Contrast" to have the contrast adjust to screen changes and "Digital Noise Reduction" to cut down on outside interference and reduce noise in the signal. On the "Installation" menu, select "Reset AV Settings" to have the settings reset to their factory defaults.

I hope the above helps.

Good luck.
