You mean, an external keyboard? Maybe your Bluetooth connection was deactivated? Check tablet's settings for Bluetooth, activate it and sync your keyboard.
The touchscreen or an external keyboard? If it is the touch screen you may try an external one to try and find new drivers for it unless it is under warranty in which case return it.
