My Toshiba Regza can run for about an hour before the sound goes on it..it gets very loud and all it does is make distorted loud noises.

The speakers sound like they are crackling just before they go altogether and I get loud distorted sounds. I have to let the TV cool for several hours before I can watch it for 30 to 50 minutes.

Check the speaker/s. If found OK; check and replace the damaged component/s at its audio output section circuit board. If needy, replace this board as card basis. Do I need a amp for Fusion MS-BX402 speakers

the reason for running an amp is becauze ur running your volume so loud you are getting distortion. Btw, its the distortion that damages speakers. If your happy with the sound then you dont need an amp. If your running your radio "full tilt" to get your sound, think about adding some power.

We have Toshiba Regza 52XV645U. We have dish network hd channels and ever since hd channels were installed after tv plays for few hours the speakers get a funny sounds like channel sound is scrambling. It...

This sounds like what may be causing it is the cable going from the tv to the receiver box. If it is only happening on the sat channels, you know that it's not the tv. I would replace the cable, if that does not work, then it may be that the receiver needs to be replaced.

The left speaker of my denon s-301 makes short loud distortion noises.

Try unplugging the right speaker and plugging the left speaker in the right port. If the speaker still sounds distorted then you know you have a brocken speaker. If it sounds normal then we know its not the speaker.

I recently purchased a 52 inch LCD. I have

This could be the speakers are vibrating onto the casing and need padding out more to prevent this.If this isnt the case, you may have a sticking coil on one of your speakers..When the sound distorts, remove one speaker in turn to see which one(s) are the offending unit(s) and replace. Is there a buzzing noise coming from the speakers especially in low volume? If so then you may have a faulty capacitor in your power supply producing hum on sound. Hope this helps :)
