If it looks like broken in all apps then what is broken is the lcd screen itself and the glass is not.

Hi my tablet got dropped and the screen is cracked in several places, are they easily replaced?

No, they are rather difficult in fact. They are glued quite solidly to the frame and great care must be taken during removal to avoid damage to the frame and the electronics inside. Also, you will most certainly break the screen even more during the removal process and there is greater risk of cuts from the broken glass. You can find videos on YouTube showing the process, and some of these guys make it look easy, but remember they do hundreds of them, so be prepared for failure if you try it yourself. Your chances are 50-50 at best if you've never attempted anything like this before.

Is it easy to replace a cracked screen on a acer iconia B1-710?

I've done several Samsungs, a couple of Apples and a Nextbook. I've never done an Acer but I'm guessing it's not too difficult.
Look up YouTube videos on the subject. You can probably find one for the exact device you have.
If the image on your tablet still looks perfect but the glass in front of it is cracked, then you only have to replace the digitizer glass. The screen is behind that. If you have to replace both, try to purchase an assembled package because it will be easier.
Typically, the image screen is fastened to the tablet frame with double-faced tape around the edges. Then another layer of double-faced tape goes around the perimeter of the image screen and the digitizer is stuck onto that. Getting things apart involves using a hair dryer and several little plastic pry tools (some of which look like pry-bars with a handle and some of which look like guitar picks) to separate the glass parts from the heat softened adhesive. I've found that having several single-edge razor blades is also handy as long as you don't slip and push it into your finger.
When you replace the adhesive between the screen glass and the digitizer glass, make sure you don't leave any gaps in the adhesive. Pressing on the front digitizer glass oil-cans it in and out and if you leave any gaps in the adhesive, dust will get sucked in between the sheets of glass.

By the way, I will NEVER do a Nextbook again--at least I wouldn't replace just the glass. They don't use double-faced tape at the factory. The glass was somehow bonded directly to an aluminum frame. Much of the glass I scraped off the frame only came off when pulverized into powder. I would buy the replacement glass already bonded to the aluminum and just snap that on. Probably wouldn't be cheap.

How to change glass screen o 10.1 trio stealth 2g tablet

The screen replacement is available at Amazon. As stated in the description, no instructions included. Nice set of tools included; most not needed. Installation is pretty intuitive; once you see the new screen, you realize that it attaches to the front bevel with adhesive tape, with one electrical connection. You must remove the broken screen basically by gently prying around the edges with tool of your choice. I did see a video of someone using a heat gun to soften the adhesive, but I dared not and used a small hairdryer on occasion. Lots of broken glass pieces will be created, wear safety glasses and work on a protected surface. If I were to do it again, I'd use a shallow cardboard box like the ones on the bottom of packs of soda. This will prevent glass escaping. Be VERY careful when working near the LCD screen, it does scratch easily. Don't worry about the cable, just cut it when removing old glass. Once all glass removed, the Trio will snap open with slight pressure on metal tabs. NO screws involved. Clean bezel well, remove old cable, install new one , reinstall the power and volume piece at the top and snap case together. Simply replace screen by removing adhesive tape and gently pressing screen it in around edges. I think the new screen works better than the original. Be sure both new screen and LCD are clean before the final install. That's how I did it; others might have a better way. Be patient and careful about all the broken glass and it should work fine. Good Buy for money, ships from China but does not take long to get to US. Tracking info is included with the shipping confirmation.

How can you fix a pandigital tablet screen that is cracked?

Sounds like a rough one. Repair the crack? @ things ... Replace the glass and or the screen. You do not want to get any glue or used for that purpose. The glass is to protect the screenso, it would be best to look into replacing the glass. It might be part of the screen itself.

A cracked screen

I have found new screens for the Kurio 7S, however I do not believe that anyone is selling the LCD screens for the 4s at this time. If is only the front glass that is broken, these can be found on Ebay.

How do you repair a cracked screen?

I don't own one, but I'm guessing it has a glass-like layer over an LCD display. The first step would be to figure out if it is the glass that is cracked, which I'm assuming is the case, or if the LCD is what is broken. In either case you will need to find a replacement part. I've had good luck using http://froogle.google.com or eBay to find similar replacement parts. Just search for your devices model number plus screen. After you have the part you need it should be a simple disassemble, replace, reassemble procedure. Hope this helps.
