Korg pa50 I have a korg pa 50. The problem with my keyboard is that after few seconds of playing the keyboard starts giving a heavy distorted windy noise. For few tones the distortion is less or nill. But every other tone n rhythm has this distortion problem. The distorted sound gets normal in between but comes back again. I checked with the earphone output also but still the same. I doubt it is an issue with the amplifier or the ocilllators. What do you suggest.

The manual is at:http://www.korguksupport.co.uk/upload/X50_OpGuide_E1.pdf if you don't have one. Try saving everything you want to save first if you know how to do that. Then initialize the keyboard. Follow the instructions on page 111 carefully. It sounds like you created an undesirable effect and accidently assigned the Pitch Bend Lock function to the effect. This parameter is explained on page 41 under Pitch Wheel Mod Wheel. Hope this helps.

Several things to check:

If the speakers are cut off when externaal cables are connected to line outs, possibly the jack sensing switch for the right channel thinks that a plug is in there... you might cycle one in and out to see if that might fix.

Another thing is they LIKELY have a PAN control setting and it might be set full left. The external MP3 would NOT be under PAN control, only the keyboard voices would be affected by it.

The styles on the PSR9000 are NOT available on the PA50. Any styles of the PSR9000 would only come from the audio generation and outputs of the PSR9000. The PSR9000 would have to be setup to the style independently as that cannot be controlled via MIDI from the PA50 controls.

Korg pa 800 = poor quality product (I have the same problem) ,pa 2x it's better.

I think it is time for you to buy one new one....That you can but on side for parts.
