My shredder worked fine but now when I turn on it does not stop running and does not shred paper ?

Most shredders will have a shred and a reverse setting. Is it running in reverse? Has the bin been emptied? With the power off, you can remove the bin and manually pull excess shredded paper jammed in the cutting heads -watch out, sharp metal . Once cleared run single sheets for the first minute to help clear rollers.

Paper got stuck in the rollers had to manually pick out. Now it will not shred the paper, but it will back it out

Hi what you could try doing is if you can get the paper feeder rollers out most of them will just un clip if you coat them in wd40 rub it in then use some cloth to dry it off put them back in and it should feed the paper better that is the fix for normally big office printers that suffer with paper jams.

My Fellowes OD1200C has decided to start running on its own without a sheet of paper being inserted in the shred slot. In other words, the "auto on" feature now stays on all the time. I can shred, but I...

Continuous running is means that the shredder thinks there is still paper in the throat. I'm not familiar with the OD1200 but I will give you the run through I would try..and this depends on whether there is a physical switch or an electronic sensor that maintains the continuous run. A quick scan of the instruction book online didn't tell me which was used on this model.
First I would unplug it (for safety reasons) and remove any stuck paper that is accesible from the bottom. Just remove the loose stuff, it doesn't have to be clean as new. It wouldn't hurt to give it a few shakes to see if anything fell out the top. If you have a can of air or a compressor handy, take the head outside and blow through from the botton. Taking it outside makes cleanup a lot easier :) . After giving it a good shot of air from the bottom, turn it over and then blow through the top. Hopefully that will remove the obstacle.
That is the best I can come up with, it doesn't even sound like much to me :( . I sure hope it helps

All lights turn on as needed and has power but won't grab paper to shred

suspect paper jam try using reverse button the dislodge paper.
suspect paper feed sensor is blocked or damaged there is a light beem in front of the teeth that starts the shredder if this defective the shredder will not start.
suspect a panel or bin is not correctly seated causing the shredder to not start.

Shredder continues to run after page is shredded, must be manually switched off.

there is a sensor that detects paper in front of it to turn on the shredder mech. it is probably covered with paper dust so the machine constantly thinks there is paper being shredded. give it a clean with a qtip moistened with isopropyl alcohol - make sure the shredder is unplugged first.

PowerShred C-220 will not shred automatically

OK lets try.
You likely have a photo sensor that detects the paper and it is dirty.
It is likely covered with paper dust (hopefully only on the outside)
Locate the sensor and wipe it off or just wipe the entire throat area.
WITH MACHINE OFF
Hope this helps

Fellows Powershred c-120 c indicator lights

your bin full sensors are dirty or broken to clean access bottom side of shredder head and look for a set of screws on each end of the paper throat. There you will see two little bulbs (bin full sensors) these have more than likely gathered paper dust and need to be cleaned with a Q-tip dipped in a little Isopryl Alchohol. This should solve your problem. If you have any questions just call us at 1-800-945-4545. A Customer Service Representative will assist you.
