The problem is that it can't be put the power ON, and it can't CHARGE, however when put in a charge, the CHARGER red's light is just keep on blinking. Same thing the camera doesn't work.
The NP20 battery that your camera requires is not taking a charge because of a "charge error". Please contact tech support and give them your address and they will replace the battery free of cost for you.

I had this exact same problem. Here's a solution. I had to do it about 7 times and others on Amazon said they had to do it about 20 times. But it does work! My light is a solid red as we speak! Good luck!
My NP 20 gave me the flashing red light of death and I got Casio to replace it. Then I had the same problem with my second NP 20 so I dug around for a way to fix it and I found the following advice on a site called FixYa. It worked instantly and I didn't risk ruining my battery.

we have had the camera for two years now and love it but just this week we put the camera in teh charger and it just keep blinking and wont charge and now the camera wont work

I had the same problem. Went to turn on my casio exilim s600 today and it would not turn on. When it put it in the charging cradle the status light was blinking red, which means "charge error." I just messaged support on the Casio website so hopefully they'll send me a new battery or something.

Same problem as others that have posted. Tried to use my exilim ex-s600 today and it was totally dead. Won't turn on and when I put it in the cradle, won't take a charge. The red light just blinks.
