I cannot reply to an email but am able to send emails out if they are originated by me

When I receive an email and try to reply it just disappears, the recipient does not receive it and there is no indication in the sent box it has been sent out. But I have no problems composing and sending out a new email or receiving them

First, which email provider do you have? do you have a 'Sent' folder or an 'Outbox', in the 'Folders' list on the left of your email window.

are these emails really a sent webpage? Sent from someone you know?
anyway, there are question to ask before one can know why? unless you had written the code for an Email System!

Try saving it as new first, then try replying to it I have had this happen if the person I am replying to has blocked me; not your case if you are able to get through with a new email.

I have a Toshiba tablet....I reply to emails and try to sent emails however, my emails are not received by whom I am sending them to. How do I send an email?

Sending and receiving emails require a client on your device such as gmail and a server that will send the email on to the recipient. It sounds like you don't have an email account set up with a server.

I receive emails on my mac and some I forward to friends, but their unable to open them youtube etc and ask I send again but when I try I cannot open either. Please Help

Hi Richard. Thers a good chance you have mail preferences setup to compose new emails in "plain text". And/Or, "Use the same message format as the original message", meaning if you reply to someone who sent you an email that is in Rich Text Format, then your reply will be in Rich Text Format but, if they send you an email in Plain Text Format, then your reply, and possibly any forwarding will be sent in Plain Text also.

For website addresses to be "clickable links" in mail, you need to ensure all emails you send, forward, or reply are in Rich Text Format.
go to Mail... Preferences... then select the Composing tab and ensure Message Format is set to "Rich Text".
Further below in the same tab you will see "Responding" and a tick box for Use the same message format as the original message (Respond using Rich or Plain Text).
If you always want to respond or forward in Rich Text only and every time, then deselect that option.
All links should work and be clickable from then onwards.

You can highlight a non working website link in the email body, right click, then select "Link" then "Add Link" to make it clickable but, you will receive a notification about converting this message to rich text format?"

Basically, the links will not be clickable if you are setup to compose new emails in Plain Text. Nor will any replies or forwards you send that are changing to Plain Text to match the format received by you from others.
Always end, reply and forward in Rich Text Format

Hope that helps.
Regards
Paul

How will you let me know why I do not receive emails when people hit reply

Usually, the "Reply" button or command does not actually send a reply. Instead it merely opens up an editor of some type that lets the user compose a reply. Nothing is actually sent until the user invokes "Send."

Try it yourself. Send yourself an email, then reply to it.

I am all having a problem with the Facebook Mobile site. When I log on and try to click on anything I keep getting the message to Confirm email & to enter Confirmation Code. Bert frustrating.

Hi. I had a similar problem... it can be fixed! Email facebook and explain what happened. Be patient and persistent.
send email to:
[email protected]
the first email I received back from them (day after I emailed) was generic saying:
"Our records indicate that there is not a disabled account associated with the address you are writing from. If you are referring to another account that has been disabled, please contact us directly from the email address you use to log in to that account..."
Except the email I was using DID belong to my missing account. So I replied with the SAME original message. And detailed what happened to my account.
I received a SECOND response, identical to the first.
I emailed them AGAIN detailing what happened.
FINALLY (about 1 1/2 weeks later) I received this email:
"Hi Chelsey,
Your original account has been reactivated and you should be able to access it now. Sorry for the inconvenience. If you have any further questions, please visit our Help Center at the following address:

Hi,

The email address in which you are trying to reply are not for receiving emails. You cannot send email to that address. You can only receive mail from that address.

Hope this solves your query.
