Find manual for woods 59028 programmable timer switch


1) Set current time:
Press reset button to clear all programs , display should flash 12:00 AM Monday
Press and hold CLOCK button.
Press Hour, minute and day buttons until current hour minute and day display.
Release Clock button.
Next step is to program the timer
Example shows how to turn on at 5PM each day and turn off at 11 PM each day.
2) Programming review: Each program requires ON time to be set, and then OFF time to be set For example you set Program1 ON 5:00PM for ALL days. And then you set Program1 OFF 11PM for ALL days. Minimum on-off set time is 1 minute.
3) Programming steps: Press PROG button until Timer 1 ON appears on display Use Hour button to set 5 PM Use MIN button to set :00 Default selects ALL days (If you want other days, press DAY button until display shows correct block of days) Press PROG button again to save Program1 ON 4) Now for Program1 OFF 5) To set Program1 Off Press PROG button until Timer 1 OFF shows in display. Use Hour button to set 11 PM Use MIN button to set :00 Default selects ALL days (If you want other days, press DAY button until display shows correct block of days) Press PROG button again to save Program1 OFF 6) Program 1ON and Program1 OFF have been set ... so press the CLOCK button to return to current time. If you want to set another program, press PROG button until Timer 2 ON displays 7) After setting programs, press Clock button so current time shows. 8) The manual shows one more thing ... if you program the timer during the hours 5-11pm, and the timer should be ON during those hours, you have to 'tell' the timer to turn ON by pressing the manual override ... after that the timer will operate normally.

Lost manuel....how do I set the day and time....

1. Turn on the system. Hold down
SKIP/TIME SET/CHECK. The
system sounds a tone after 1
second.

2. While holding down SKIP/TIME
SET/CHECK, press REPEAT/ANNC/
DAY. The system announces
"Monday" and &'?appears on the
display. Repeatedly press REPEAT/
ANNC/DAY until you hear or see the
correct day.

3. While holding down SKIP/TIME
SET/CHECK, press MEMO/2 WAY/
HOUR. The system announces "1
AM". &' appears on the display.
Repeatedly press MEMO/2 WAY/
HOUR until you hear or see the
correct hour.

4. While holding down SKIP/TIME
SET/CHECK, press PLAY/PAUSE/
MIN. The system announces "01".

I have model 0155671 but it doesnt look like the model online mine has four buttons across set time plus minus next riw is rnd ctd bottom is manual i dont understand when it says select 12 or 24...

A) 12-24 hour choice >> just use the 24 hour display.
That gives you day and night hours
I don't know why these companies offer 12hr-24hr option on timers.

B) Military time vs Regular time (military time does not use am and pm)
1 1am

11 11am
12 12noon
13 1pm
14 2pm
20 8pm
23 11pm
24 12midnight

C) Utilitec 0155671 is same as Woods 59377
Before Woods made 59377, they made 49566 (which is also called TD1101 and TD1300)

D) How to program timer.
Plug timer in until rechargeable battery is charged and display shows.
Unplug timer to program
1) Set current time.
Hold in reset button for two seconds to clear memory
Press and hold TIME button to select 24 hours so there is no problem. Release Time button.

Press and hold SET button.
MO is flashing, and represents MOnday. TU for TUesday. WE TH FI SA SU
Continue holding down SET button, and press ? ? until current day displays.
Release SET button.

Press and hold SET button again, and Hours will flash
Continue holding down SET button, and press ? ? until current hour displays.
Release SET button.

Press and hold SET button again, and Minutes will flash
Continue holding down SET button, and press ? ? until current minute displays.
Release SET button.

Press SET button again and current time and day will display.

2) Program review:
Set up to 20 on-off programs.
You can select individual days, or groups of days, or all days of the week
For example MO-SU is all days of the week
For each ON time, you also must set OFF time.
So program1 ON is set, then program1 OFF is set
Each ON is set for day, hour and minute
Each OFF is set for day, hour and minute (select same days for OFF and that you chose for ON)
For example if you want timer to turn ON all days MO-SU, make sure OFF time is also set for all days MO-SU.

3) Program the timer:
ON
Press arrow? until display shows PROG 1 ON
This is program1 ON.
Press SET button, but do not hold set button down as you did when setting current time.
The days for program1 ON will be flashing on display.
Press ? ? to select day, or groups of days that you want for program1 ON.

Press SET button again, and program1 ON hour will start flashing
Press ? ? to select hour that you want for program1 ON.

Press SET button again, and program1 ON minute will start flashing
Press ? ? to select minute that you want for program1 ON.

program1 ON is set, next you will set program1 OFF

OFF
Press arrow? until display shows PROG 1 OFF
This is program1 OFF.
Press SET button, but do not hold set button down as you did when setting current time.
The days for program1 OFF will be flashing on display.
Press ? ? to select day, or groups of days that you want for program1 OFF.

Press SET button again, and program1 OFF hour will start flashing

program1 ON and OFF are set, next you will set program2 ON by repeating steps above.

If you do not want to set more programs, that is fine.
Timer lets you set up to 20 programs.

Finish programming: when program ON-OFFs are set, press TIME button and current time displays.

4) Last step:
Push manual override button until AUTO is displayed. This will let timer turn lights on and off.
Plug lamp into timer.
Lamp must be turned ON.
Plug timer into wall.

How do you set for 7 days lights on and off

Intermatic has two slightly different ways depending on model. first way:

Press MODE until the screen displays PGM
with blanks for time.
Press DAY/DST as many times as necessary to
display 12:00 a.m. and the day(s) you want
the program to activate. Choices are:
- everyday
- weekdays only
- weekends only
- a specific day
NOTE: If you go too far, keep pressing DAY/DST to loop back
around again.
Press HOUR+ to set the hour you want the program to turn ON.
Press M+ to set the minutes you want the
program to turn ON.
Press NEXT ON/OFF to set the OFF time for the
program. The screen again displays blanks.
Press DAY/DST as many times as necessary to
display 12:00 a.m. and the day(s) you want
the program to activate.
NOTE: Since you're setting an OFF time for an
ON event already programmed, choose the
same days as in the ON event.
Press HOUR+ to set the hour you want the program to turn
OFF.
Press M+ to set the minutes you want the
program to turn OFF.
At this point you have two choices:
Press MODE if you are finished to exit from programming.
Press NEXT ON/OFF to set another program. Repeat from
Step 2 above.

Second way:

Press the MODE button one time. (PGM) will be displayed on the top left corner of the timer. We are setting the ON time for Program 1. --:-- -- 1 ON will be displayed on the screen.
Press the DAY/DST (bottom left) button to select the day or series of days the timer is to turn ON. You can either select the ASTRO time, which will adjust as the days get longer and shorter or a specific time. To use the ASTRO time press the DAY/DST until SNST appears on the screen. All seven days will be shown on the bottom of the timer.
Or to use a specific time press the DAY/DST button and select the day or series of days the timer is to turn ON.
Use the HOUR+YEAR- (bottom center) button and select the HOUR to turn the unit ON. Use the
M+ZONE+YEAR+ (bottom right) button to set the MINUTES of your on time.
Press the next ON/OFF button one time. We are now setting the OFF time for program 1. Press the DAY/DST (bottom left) to select the day or series of days of operation. To use the ASTRO time press the button until SNUP appears on your screen.
Or to select a specific time, press the DAY/DST button and select a day or series of days the unit is to turn Off.
Press the HOUR+YEAR- (bottom center) button and set the hour of your off time. Press the M+ZONE+YEAR+ (bottom right) button to select the minutes of your Off time.
For additional programs press the NEXT ON/OFF button to the next program and follow above steps. Check the unused programs to assure they are blank. To check the other programs press the NEXT ON/OFF button, you should see --:-- -- on the screen. If a time appears press and release the DAY/DST button until the --:-- -- appears. Repeat this step thru Program 7 off.
Press the MODE button. (AUTO) will appear on top center of screen.

If you cannot program, try to reset the whole timer:

Press the RESET and the NEXT ON/OFF buttons at the same time. Release the buttons and wait for 1200 to start blinking.

1) Test installation to see if your wiring technique is correct.
Open cover > set on-off switch to 'ON'
Press the tiny round reset button with paper clip
Screen displays 0:00, MO, MAN, OFF
Close cover
Push cover inward like a push-button (the cover is the manual override)
Lights should turn on
If lights don't turn on, then you need to rewire ... so re-post a re-wire question ... and then come back to this answer to program

2) Set Time and Day/ Correct time and day are needed for programs to work.
To start, notice on the screen - in the corners are little letters: MAN, MO, OFF. And to left of time is PM.
Set the Hour: Press hour button until correct hour shows, including PM or AM
Set minutes: Press MIN button until correct minutes show
Set the day. Press day key ... MO in corner changes ... for example TU is Tuesday, WE Wednesday, TU Thursday
Press one of the control buttons to finish operation

Programming overview
:
Timer allows 7 programs
Program 1, Program 2 etc
Each program has ON and OFF time
So you have to select Program 1
And then set DAY for Program 1, set ON time for Program 1, and then set OFF time for Program 1
Next you do the same for Program 2 , and then Program 3, 4 etc to 7
If you only want Program 1, then you do not need to set Programs 2 thru 7

Let's program
:
Press PGM button ... the timer screen show a P to right of time
The number 1 appears below P and indicates Program 1

Set days you want Program 1 to work: Press day button and you can see MO TU WE TH etc appear on screen.
If you want all week long, press day button until all 7 days appear in tiny print on bottom of screen
Now you have the Day set for Program 1
ON time for Program 1
Notice the screen shows ON ... this means you are going to set the ON time for Program 1
First, Set hour you want Program 1 to turn ON: press Hour button until correct AM PM time shows on screen
Last, set minutes to go along with hour: press MIN button until correct ON time minutes show
You have the day, hour and minute set for ON time

Set OFF time for Program 1: we are going to set a Day, hour and minute you want Program 1 to turn OFF
Press PGM button, and notice that OFF appears in top right corner of screen
Set the day you want timer to turn OFF for Program 1 by pressing DAY button >>> Tip set same days you set for ON times. So if you selected all seven days for ON time, then select all seven days for OFF time
Set the hour and minute you want Program 1 to turn OFF by using Hour and MIN buttons as before.

OK, the ON and OFF day, hour and minute are set for Program 1.
To continue to Program 2, press PGM button until a 2 appears on screen below the P
If you do not want to set more Programs, then you're finished
To finish, press any control button
Close the lid, cross your fingers, you did good

How to set time on the southwestern bell answer machine FA982B

I went to the southwesten bell freedom phone site on the web. Found answering machines.  My old machine was not listed, so I found instructions for a later machine.
The method for setting time was similar.  I tried it and it worked fine.
Your high prices prompted me to be less lazy.

First of all you need to set the Language which allows you to set the answer in either English or in Spanish voice menu mode. Once the language is set, all voice menu, including the ones used in Remote access mode, will be switched to the selected language.
1. Press and hold the STOP/SET button for two seconds, then release to access the set-up menu.
2. The answering machine announces, "For English, press NEXT, press SET to continue (in English). Para espanol, oprima PREVIO, oprima PROGRAMAR para continuar (in Spanish)".
3. Press NEXT, answerer enters English voice menu mode. If PREVIOUS is pressed, answerer enters Spanish voice menu mode. If SET is pressed, answerer remains in the current language mode. In any case, the answerer enters to the TIME/DAY menu.
NOTE: Language can only be set when the user is in physical access of the unit. When you are running in Remote Access mode, the language cannot be changed and will remain in the language you’ve previously set.10
Setting the Time/Day : This setting allows you to set the current time and day for the Time/Day stamp attached to each message.
Hour : 1. When you have completed setting the Language, the unit will enter the TIME/DAY menu. The answering system announces, "Time (the current time and day setting) To set hour, press next...press set to continue."

How to set date and time

Voice Time/Day Stamp
1. Make sure the answering system is ON.
2. Press flash/answerer/call waiting button on the handset to enter answerer remote mode.
3. Press key [8] to enter Time/Day set menu on handset.
4. To set Hour, key in [00]-[12].
5. To set Minutes, key in [00]-[59].
6. To set AM/PM, press the CALLER ID-VOLUME (5or6) button.
7. Press #PAUSE/ringer button to confirm the setting.
8. Press Caller ID-Volume to set Day
9. Press #Pause to Confirm
10. Phone will then Announce the Day & Time
