Could you please tell me how to re-set Samsung fridge Model No. SRS702GDHSS thanks as we have misplaced our booklet and the freezer side of the fridge is not working, rang and spoke to a technician who advised us to turn the fridge off for about 20 mins and then turn back on to see if it is o.k.

Unplug the fridge, wait 2 minutes and plug back in. If symptoms remain then likely it was damaged. If you don't have a whole house surge suppressor then you need one. Modern appliances are extremely susceptible to voltage spikes.

My advice with control boards is to get professional diagnosis due to the cost of them. Always try cleaning the edge connector with electrical switch cleaning fluid.

It sounds like the "Duct" adjustment may be set wrong.
There should be "Two" different dials on your unit. One is the actual thermostat, which senses the "refrigerator" temp only. The other is a duct from the freezer compartment to the refrigerator.
If this is the problem, simply turn the (refrigerator knob to a colder setting). Yo May also have the "outlet" for the duct seriously blocked., If so just move your product (in the fridge).
Hope this is it, there a a few other possible solutions, but from your description these are the most probable.

We had a similar problem. SAMSUNG said to not set the freezer to the top range and the fridge to top range. If you set the freezer to the top range there is not enough cold air funneled to the fridge. We usually set the freezer to about 3 dots and the fridge to 4 or 5. Try that and see if it helps

check the cold for what you want but the ideal settings would be 5 for the freezer and 37 for the fridge
freezer can be really cold but the fridge if too cold will freeze vegetables and lettuce

A model number and serial number would help in any diagnosis.
