Question about GE Refrigerators
Do you hear a slight buzzing when you try to get water?? If yes, you may have a frozen water line inside the freezer door. GE had some problems with those models. They offer a heater kit that has to be installed in the dispenser area of the freezer door. Once installed, in about a day the water line should be defrosted enough to dispense water again. If you don't hear that buzzing sound when trying to get water, you could have a bad inlet valve which is at the lower back of the refrigerator where your house water line hook to the refrigerator.
