How do you attach flexible extension to the main unit?

usually you need to remove the front collar of the main unit, it usually just screws off. Don't lose it as you will need to replace it when you remove the flexible unit. You then insert the shaft into the collett and tighten it then thread the outside of the flexible shaft onto where you disconnected the the front collar. You do not state model so I cannot give you exact instructions

Stripped plastic coupler on output shaft of Dremel model 277

I'm guessing, but I think that the Sears tool uses the same flexible coupling. If you go to www.searspartsdirect.com and put in the model 572610031, you can look at the diagram and decide for yourself. I think the part costs $2.57. If it's the right one, I'd order two or three for the future.
Hope this helps.
