Serial might have been noted on the original sales invoice.

It sounds like a faulty thermostat, because when you turn the thermostat on it should supply the oven element and the neon light, so even if the element is faulty, the neon light should still come on regardless of the element working or not.

i have an ov b 10 whirlpool/ikea oven that i have cleaned the thermostat knob numbers off. can i buy another set of numbers because my guess work is ruining my food!
