Google owns you tube. Check your browser settings, and try the same URL on another computer. You should also try a different browser.

Are your computer's video card drivers up to date? This may be a reason.

Problem with the Toshiba 50H13 50 in. Rear Projection Television. Green tint

The tubes have aged and the colour balance between the tubes has shifted. You will need to redo it using a black/white test image: first the black (the cutoff point), then the white (the gain) on each tube - always start with the green colour. This is done on the final video amplifier of each tube by adjusting the corresponding semiadjustable resistors.

Set comes on with a blue screen with retrace lines, then shuts down. Turned down screen control on flyback, set stays on cannot control brill

The set is shutting down because the picture tube is been over driven, it is most likely the picture tube has a short in the blue gun, turning down the screen control drops the voltage to a safer level. The only other possibility is a short video driver and open feed resistor usually located on the video board on the back of the picture tube.

My rca rear projection tv screen turns mostly green after being on for about 2 hours and the writing is blurry

Not an uncommon problem with projection TVs. The image is projected onto the screen by three high intensity lamps located in the base of the unit, one tube for each of the three colors necessary to recreate the video signals. (red, green, and blue). Direct view TVs have all three built into the neck of the picture tube. The from each of these colors are controlled by signals and voltages applied to wire mesh screens, called grids, that are part of the tube. Sometimes these internal grids fail in such a way so that as the device got warmer the wire in the grid flexes as it gets hot and at some point contacts something else in the tube. In your case, assuming that the picture is good until the failure, the green tube loses control, goes into overdrive, defocuses, saturates the display with green. If you open the unit, you can see the three tubes and verify the failure. The proper fix is to replace the faulty tube. Sometimes opening the unit will keep the internal temp cool enough to prevent the failure. In a pinch, (Superbowl Sunday, 2004), a cooling fan installed in back worked. I hope this helped.

IM A TV TECH. I HAVE A SONY LCD KP-60XBR800 I HAVE NO RASTER. POWER OK, MENU OK BUT NO RASTER ON TUNER, TUNER VOLTS OK,CAN YOU HELP ME PLEASE. THANKS my email [email protected]

check the high voltage with the screen control turned up high where there is no raster. suspect problem within the video circuit where there is no high voltage or defective picture tube.some time when the screen is black and the screen control advanced, you can see if the tv has video or vertical or horizontal problems on the screen.service the high voltage circuit if there is no raster or high voltage is seen.no raster can be caused by the no heater or filament in the CRT.---- a defective picture tube can cause many problems, such as, poor brightness ,missing colors, intermittent picture, poor focus,a single-colored raster, arching in the gun assembly, retrace lines in the picture, negative picture, chassis shutdown, noheater or filament lit and no raster to name a few.an open filament or heater can cause no picture or no raster symptom.a defective CRT can have an extremely bright screen.loose particles of the cathode element can lodge between the grids and cause an intermittent black and white picture. simply tap the ends of the CRT gun assembly and notice if the picture begins to flash off and on.---- with a leaky picture tube after turn on the raster dims and get extremely bright.a dim picture with no green in the raster can result from a bad green assembly. a heater-to-cathode short can cause a raster to change colour or a result in no raster at all.replace the picture tube if there is severe arching in the neck of CRT. excessive brightness with retrace lines and a vertical collapse to a thin line can be caused by a bad coil on the neck board of the picture tube.rejuvenate the picture tube when there is very bright green screen. check for the resistance change on the resistors of the CRT neck board for an excessively bright picture with retrace lines.excessive dust inside the CRT spark gaps within the picture tube socket can cause the very bright raster and the chassis shutdown.a defective video amp, luminance buffer,or reference transistor can cause a bright picture with retrace lines. -------- for getting any required parts to replace you can get it from www.radioshack.com or from www.partstore.com or from www.shopjimmy.com --------- thanks.please do rate the solution.thank you for using fixya.keep updated.

Sony KP-51WS500 projection tv. Screen is green with curved lines

The green picture tube has an internal short. Happened a lot with that model. The tubes are no longer availible. But a reputable company called Video Display will rebuild the tube completely. But the tube must be pulled and shipped to them. Most repair shops would charge around $400 to $500 for the complete job.
