I have an EPS-611X shedder, has worked fine now, it runs slow to feed, only sheds for about 3 to 5 sheets then over heats. It cools dwn then same routine. Is it there motor? (bushings), or a heat sensor?...

If it runs slow, there are a couple of things that cause that. The usual one is that the blades haven't been oiled. The tolerances are very tight between them. You can buy 'shredder oil', or you can use any LIGHT machine oil, 3 in 1 Garage Door Spray is ideal. Spray liberally from the underside

Take the head apart and you will see the electric motor, spray the bearings both ends. All of the cogs should be covered in grease, add some more, or spread around the surplus over the gear teeth.

There should be a fan attached to the motor, make sure it spins and all the blades are on it.

Finally, make sure the vents are free of obstruction.

It is only a light duty, 6 sheet (max) shredder, so should be used for more that 5 or 10 minutes without a long cool down period.

Cleaning a shredder that has sticky paper stuck to the cutters. A EPS-611x.

FIRST MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE REMOVED POWER
UNPLUG IT

Using pick remove the paper that is stuck to the cutters,
also you could try shredder oil to assist after you have removed
a majority of the sticky paper...Take a piece of paper fold it
in half, apply a bead of shredder oil the length of the folded paper
Run it through the shredder like you would a plain piece of paper keeping it folded

Executive paper shredder eps-711x wont shut off

around the middle of the cutters there is a small lever that operates a microswitch
that level gets jammed in the on position from paper scraps and keeps the machine running
remove that paper bit and the machine will switch off

My Executive Machines EPS 1200X shredder works in reverse, but does not shred.

there should be a forward/ reverse switch that is used to unjam paper being shredded. check that
if it is automatic then check for paper stuck in the shredder causing the reverse action.

Does not auto shut-off anymore?

Automatic feed switch jamed with paper. reverse and forward several times may help. Otherwise turn it over and pull paper out of the bottoms to clear the switch jam.

My EPS-1501X has photo sensors that stops the motor from running when the paper reaches a certain height. How does this regulate the overflow?

From what I have seen on mine, there are three sensors: one to detect if the door is open, one to detect when the unit is full, and one to detect when material is fed.
As for mine, the unit would not start when it was fed. Once I opened it, I saw the photo sensor was missing a screw. I realigned the bezels and added the screw. However, once I reassembled it, the unit still had the same issue.
Now, I suspect that it is the control board. I have no time to get into that, but it does not look too difficult.
I searched the internet for support, but there seems to be no company presence available. So, I think I am stuck manually triggering and stopping the motor.
It is an amazing shredder otherwise and I would not even consider replacing it. At least, not until the motor fails.
From what I have seen inside, I doubt that will be anytime soon...

Executive Machines EPS-1200X Shredder has power but papers are stuck and there is no sound from motor

You will need to clear the jammed paper using tweezers from between the rollers. Make sure the sensor arm in the middle of feed opening is not stuck and moves up and down freely. If not you will need to give it a good soak with lubricant to allow any stuck paper to soften and loosen. Once cleaning procedure done unit will be good as new

SHREDDER EPS-1501X

I personally work with Fellowes brand shredders, but it sounds like you have a paper feed sensor issue. This may be a mechanical or electronic sensor located in the center of the paper feed slot. If it is electronic it may just need cleaning(qtip dipped in rubbing alchohol. If it is a mechanical sensor check to make sure it has not been broken or it may be stuck because of paper that has become wedged behind it(you may need to jiggle the switch a few times to free it). If none of this works you may have a burned out switch or a bad pc1.gif board, contact manufacturer for more info.
