How do you oil the singer xl.1000 - Singer Sewing Machines

First turn off the XL-1000 and remove the auxilliary bed. Attach the embroidery bed and push the lever on the front of the bed to the right. Switch to the embroidery presser foot. Thread the machine with the appropriate embroidery thread and bobbin thread. Set up the embroidery hoop. Turn on the machine. Lift the presser foot to the highest position. Slide the embroidery hoop under the presser foot such that the key on the hoop goes into the slot on the embroidery bed.

The directions for setting up the hoop are given in the manual for the Quantum XL-1000. The section on embroidery starts on page 54 (page 56 of the PDF). Page 57 has the information on securing the hoop to the embroidery frame.

please read the instruction menu for oiling area. a small plastic bottle singer oil can be purchased at joanne fabric shop or any department store carries fabric. if you can't find the menu booklet, a drop of oil should be enough on all moving mechanism. don't over do it. best way is move the pulley where the belt is attached. see the movement for all moving mechanism. then one drop oil should be enough. be sure clean out the dust in general are by using vaccum cleaner before lubricating the macjine. do not oil the belt, otherwise will lose friction and slip when sewning. hope this will help. bob

You have the CE-100 listed, but your question is regarding an XL-1000, so I'm not sure which you're referring to. Regardless, you can download the user's manual free from the Singer Sewing Machine website; if it's the XL-1000, you can also download the workbook free as well.

contact singer customer service about oiling, some machine are
self oiling, since the feed dog is up and not feeding the fabic
then the machine needs to be checked to see what wrong with the
feed dogs.

Of course needs oil u might have ******** it up.Try oil.
