This model has two evaporators, so Do you have an ice ball in behind the crisper (should be on the left)? Is there brown looking water going down the back and collecting under the crispers? I need two things, a complete model number (there is 8 different model with this number you gave) also where is the ice and water located? Thanks
hi there, refrigerators have condensation that forms and generally goes down a little hole that is usually under the fruit and vegetable drawers. This water should go down this whole into a condensation pan that is under the refrigerator and then evaporates. Sometimes food gets in the hole under the drawers and keeps the water from being able to travel where it needs to. Try to run a pipe cleaner of something through the hole to clean it out and maybe a very small amount of HOT water. If there is no hole there, it is unusual and it is possibly something else. This is usually the problem I have. Hope this helps!
Something to try....on the back wall of the fridge nearer to the top is a little cup like part sticking out. There is water in it but it usually runs down an attached tube inside back wall and ends up under the fridge and gets evaporated. If that tube or the little cup thing is plugged then it will drip in the fridge and collect on the inside bottom of the fridge. So the trick is to clean them out. Check it out ...may solve the problem.
The defrost water is supposed to go into a drain hole below the evaporation coils. The hole is clogged and the water goes down the back side of the refrigerator to the bottom. Seen it. You gotta clean out that drain hole. Shop vac works great.
could just be condensation, which is normall, have you put any uncovered/warm/food or salad/fresh fruit in lately, these all add to the"problem"there is no "fix "other than kitchen tissue under the salad /fruit drawers, and throw away once a week.fridges are not frost free.(condensation in freezer is frost)
brute force on the glass shelf.... it was just stuck in place by the cold sticky liquid that had seeped under the edges and bonded the glass and plastic together
Look on the top back of ur fridge. in the middle of it u should see a resetacaple. if it is full of water and over flowing there is ur problem. then u have to check about ur cooling unith if not change the setting of u fridge let the frizzer frezze and the fridge stay a bit warmer
at the top of the fridge section at the center back there is a drain assy/ tube for defrost water to exit the unit and go to the bottom of the outside, this is most likely clogged up. disassemble and clear drain line, hook back up and call me in the morning.
Make sure the door is closing properly, that nothing is trapped in the door seal, and that the seal isn't torn or distorted.
The seals are there to stop moist external air getting in then dropping its load of moisture as it cools.
