How do I get my Eviant Android Tablet to turn on? I have had it for over a year and it was charging. I checked and it showed it was fully charged, but it will not turn on.

I found this forum from searching about the prestige 7 and watching the videos ... It showed the charging animation for a few mins and then went off. ... I'd like to figure out what the problem is as I quite like the tablet and it was half .... prestige pro 7d won'tturn on. ,. visual land 8q has power but will not turn on. prestige 10D wont turn on after charging help!

Not sure about Evant, but my daughters Android had the same problem
Start > Settings > Language 'A' > English is usually the first on the list

You can try a hard reset.
You do not state what model but generally.
If its an Android OS you will need to try holding the power on + volume +up +down Or power on+home +volume down then Factory reset.
You will lose of your personal data.

Have you tried the pinhole reset method yet.?

hold down power and volume up and down at the same time for 10 seconds and then release. should reboot. if not then there is something wrong with the board or a software glitch.

Could be the same problem I'm experiencing. I originally thought that my tablet just wouldn't charge. I now know that the operating system is some how not fully booting. A check with the internet showed just such a problem. Now if this is the case, then maybe someone at fixya will be able to come up with the solution. Good luck..
