Since that model has been discontinued, it will be a little hard to locate one. Searching ebay only turned up other models like 9100, etc.

I would try a multi-craigslist search engine like crazedlist.org to do a broad search. I would think you could expect to pay anywhere from $20 to $60 for it depending on age, condition, etc.

What would cause 1 channel of a Rockford Fosgate T800.4ad 4 channel Amp to fry speakers while there are no such problems with the other 3 channels?
Question: what starts to smoke, the speaker or the amp? I'm assuming it's the amp. It cant be a fuse because that's what fuses are for to cut the power on an overload or surge. I would have a look at you circuit board for the amp My guess is what you;ll find is a burnt spot on the board and that will tell you what component is bad and needs replacing. Good Luck

Audio cutting in and out protect light turning on Rockford fosgate p4004
Disconnect all speaker connections and rca cables. Leave power, ground and remote wires intact. Try turning on again. If you still have a protection light your amp is faulty. Hopefully you have warranty. Your amp is clipping. Check you inputs to verify you have a signal coming in, if signal then check outputs try a speaker that you know is working and plug it in if that speaker plays then the subs/ or speaker wiring is bad, if it doens't play then you probably have a blown output transistor on the amp or possibly a terminal ground/positive has come loose on the inside..

if your sub will handle it, bridging it will give you more power. The best thing to do is to find out how much power the amp puts out ( RMS ) and if it is in your power handling range bridge it. It sounds better and gives you a harder punch because of more power.

that amp should work fine with those speakers,just make sure that they(speakers)are wired for 2 ohms.at 500-600watts coming from amp, you should be getting 250-300 watts per speaker,just dont crank your gain too high on the amp.
