Why my tv has no channel settings?

Simple way to do is automatic tuning.Press Menu, go to Channel set up (Programme), select Auto Tuning. Your available channels will be set up in order of their channel numbers. Later you can shift the channels at desired programme number.

VCR is analogue, However you can still use it to record digital programmes when connected via a digital set top box. You can only record the channel you have selected on the screen. In other words, you cannot record a channel programme while watching another channel. I use mine on a second TV and when recorded I take the tape out and put it into my main TV for viewing at a later date. I don't watch too much TV so it works fine for me for the odd programme.

It maybe that the TV needs to be completely reset. in the menu somewhere should be a setting to "restore factory settings" or "reset to default" something like that...

Unless BOTH TV's are tuned to same channel, then it will pick up a different channel. There are no master slave, one antenna can provide a myriad of channels. to many TV's.

Hi Barry Like mine, it could be that since the channel 5 fiasco, your new signal may be a bit weaker, and may have only just been strong enough before. I had to dig out an old signal booster, a re-tune again, and bingo all there! Also, when you go to retune, you may want to use "first Time Install" because it completely wipes the old channel list, and starts a fresh.

Use 'Auto-Scan to find required channel
Select 'Memory' ; 'Memory shows on control panel
While 'Memory' still shows, press preset button for required channel number
Programme is set

I created a 'favourites' list of programmes and added the radio channels. Then I could select them in the same way as I did my favourite TV programmes.

{ Channel } or { S-Channel } (Special Channel),
then press OK to confi rm.
{ Frequency } – Shows the frequency of the current TV
channel.
– If required, use ���� keys to start the automatic
frequency search and press OK to confi rm.
{ TV System } – Set the TV system that produces the least
distortion of picture and sound.
– Use ���� keys to select a suitable sound mode,
then press OK to confi rm. (See chapter “TV
System Guide” at the back of this manual for
more information).
{ NICAM } – Turn on or off the digital sound transmission
system which improves the sound quality of the
TV channel.
– Use ���� keys to select { On } or { Off }, then
press OK to confi rm.
