Remove the top grill assembly. It is usually held on by 2 screws going down through the cabinet top. You may need to tap the grill to the left slightly to get the tabs to release. Once the grill is off, look near the middle of the top edge of the microwave frame for 1 screw that looks like it goes through a metal lip. It will be right above the inside light bulb area. remove screw and then pull the metal tab towards you. The complete light bulb assembly will slide up and out towards you. Replace bulb and reassemble microwave.

30-watt incandescent light bulb
Screwdriver

Unplug the Magic Chef microwave from the wall outlet.
Remove the screw from the light cover located on the left side of the underside of the microwave. The light cover is connected to a hinge and will lower, but cannot be removed from the microwave.

There should a sliding panel of glass or plastic covering the light. Remove the glass or plastic then you should see the light bulb. If the light buld is a regular old bulb unscrew it if its a small floorisent bulb twist it so it will roll out of its sitting position. Then you can take the bulb to any hardware store to match the bulb. I have had this trouble before but with a different model. There may be a plastic screen inside the microwave that will just pop off exposing the bulb. Now all you will need to do is to find out what type of bulb you will need to change the other bulb. I hope this made things easier on you.

How to change inside bulb
Normal procedure is to remove case cover to access the bulb.

Usually several screws on the back and some partially hidden on the front to remove. Sometimes the screws require a Torx screwdriver.

Unplug unit and avoid touching any wires.

Replace bulb with exact type.

How do you change the bulb
First, take off the cover and you will see the bulb. You must have the unit unplugged and do not touch anything else inside the unit after you take off the cover. Theres a capacitor in there that holds a big charge.. Change the bulb as you may have to go to the hardware store as it may not be a regular bulb Most are not. Good Luck
